John Dale Bennett was an American athlete who competed mainly in the long jump. He was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He competed for the United States in the 1956 Summer Olympics held in Melbourne, Australia in the long jump, where he won the silver medal. Bennett attended Marquette University and won two NCAA titles while competing for the school's track and field team.

Connor Theodore Hansen was an American lawyer, jurist, and Republican politician from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He was a justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court for 13 years, from 1967 until 1980. Earlier in his career, he served as county judge and district attorney of Eau Claire County, and worked as a special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation during World War II.
Charles H. Thompson (1935-2012) was the Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for eight years. Prior to his role as Secretary, Thompson worked at the Wisconsin Public Service Commission. He was appointed by Governor Tommy Thompson and served from April 1, 1987 to December 31, 1991. Thompson was then appointed to the position of Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in January 1992. He retired in 2000 and lived in Florida until his death. He was educated at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.

Phil Cook is an American guitarist, banjoist, pianist and singer. He is a member of the freak-folk band Megafaun. Before he became a member of Megafaun, Cook was part of DeYarmond Edison, a band led by Bon Iver's Justin Vernon. He also plays in the band Gayngs as well as the Vernon-fronted Shouting Matches. Joan Reidy Heggen was an American politician who served as mayor of Tallahassee, Florida. The first woman to hold the position, Heggen served as mayor from 1973 to 1974. She declined to run for reelection, citing a desire to spend more time with her family. Heggen was born in Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. She also did graduate work at the University of Alabama.
David Wayne Moody is an American motorsports commentator who works for the Motor Racing Network (MRN). He is the lead turn announcer for MRN and has worked for the radio network on and off since 1983. He moved to MRN full-time in 1997 and became the lead turn announcer in 2001. Since 2003, Moody has been the host of the radio show SiriusXM Speedway on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
