Claire Clutterham (born 24 April 1982) [1] is an Australian politician. She is a member of the Australian Parliament for the Division of Sturt representing the Labor Party after winning the seat in the 2025 Australian federal election from James Stevens,whose Liberal Party had held that seat since 1972 and for all but three terms since its creation in 1949. Clutterham defeated Stevens on the sixth count after Green preferences flowed overwhelmingly to her,allowing her to pick up a two-party swing of 7 points. [4] Her victory left the Liberals without any seats in Adelaide for the first time since 1946. [5] She is a member of the Labor Right. [6]
Before she was elected to Federal Parliament,Clutterham was an elected councillor for the City of Norwood Payneham &St Peters. [7]
