Claire Walsh (born 27 May 1942) is an Irish middle-distance runner. She competed in the women's 800 metres at the 1972 Summer Olympics. [1]

Bennett attended Marquette University and won two NCAA titles while competing for the school's track and field team.
Cornelius Edward "Con" Walsh was an Irish Canadian athlete who represented Canada at the 1908 Summer Olympics. He was born in Carriganimma. He won a bronze medal in the hammer throw, finishing third behind fellow Irishmen John Flanagan and Matt McGrath, both of whom represented the United States.
