Design

The Classic 26 is a recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. It has a masthead sloop rig, a raked stem, a plumb transom, a transom-hung rudder controlled by a tiller and a fixed fin keel. The boat has a draft of 4.30 ft (1.31 m) with the standard keel and is normally fitted with a small outboard motor for docking and maneuvering. [1] [2]

The design has a hull speed of 6.21 kn (11.50 km/h). [2]
