Love is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. Led by frontman and primary songwriter Arthur Lee, they were one of the first racially diverse American rock bands. Their sound incorporated an eclectic range of styles including garage, folk-rock, and psychedelia. While finding only modest success on the music charts, peaking in 1966 with their Top 40 hit "7 and 7 Is", Love would come to be praised by critics as their third album, Forever Changes (1967), became generally regarded as one of the best albums of the 1960s.

Mark Freuder Knopfler is a British singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. Born in Scotland and raised in England, he was the lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of the rock band Dire Straits. He pursued a solo career after the band first dissolved in 1988. Dire Straits reunited in 1990, but dissolved again in 1995. He is now an independent solo artist.
Hot Space is the tenth studio album by the British rock band Queen. It was released on 21 May 1982 by EMI Records in the UK and by Elektra Records in the US. Marking a notable shift in direction from their earlier work, they employed many elements of disco, funk, rhythm and blues, dance and pop music on the album. This made the album less popular with fans who preferred the traditional rock style they had come to associate with the band. Queen's decision to record a dance-oriented album germinated with the massive success of their 1980 hit "Another One Bites the Dust" in the US.

In Between Words is the independent debut album by Jamaican singer-songwriter Tessanne Chin released digitally on December 6, 2010. After going on tour for three years with Jimmy Cliff as a back-up singer, Tessanne decided to launch her solo career. she began writing songs for her the album after she left her band Mile High.

Louis Grandison, known by his stage name Dexta Daps, Dappa Don or Dexta, is a Jamaican dancehall and reggae performer. Grandison’s career began in 2012 with the release of his first two singles "Save me Jah" and "May you be". He has collaborated with many dancehall artists including Kranium, Masicka, Movado, and international artists like M.I.A, Davido, Kiesza, and Tory Lanez. Dexta Daps is praised for his versatility, unique voice, style and, performances.
John Cody Carpenter is an American musician and composer. He is the son of film director John Carpenter and actress Adrienne Barbeau. Carpenter is mostly known for his work with his father and musician Daniel Davies, as well as his various solo projects.
