Close II You was a Dutch girl group founded in 1996. It was then disbanded in 2001 and reformed from 2011 to 2013.
The group was created through 1996 auditions, by the producers Eeg van Kruysdijk and Ed van Otterdijk. In August of that year, Natascha Scheffers, Sascha Koninkx, Nadja Nooijen, Arlice Beeldsnijder, and Marsha van de Berg were brought together as the original line-up and had their first hit with single "Nice & Nasty". After their first single, Arlice left the group and was replaced by Sally Flissinger (of Hermes House Band).
The girls had their biggest hit at the end of 1997 with the single "Baby Don’t Go". The success of the group took its toll and Koninkx left the group at the end of 1998, officially "because of health related issues".[ citation needed ] The group continued with the remaining four. Although only moderately successful afterwards, they continued to perform.
In May 2000, van de Berg left the group, after which Koninkx was asked to return. But only four months after the switch, Flissinger decided to leave. No replacement was found for her, and in 2001, Close II You was disbanded. Scheffers, Koninkx and Nooijen continued under the name Girls Together Outrageously (GTO). They released their only single, "I’ll be Around", which had no success. In October 2003 the girls finally disbanded.

S Club 7 are an English pop group from London, created by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller and consisting of members Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, Hannah Spearritt, and Rachel Stevens. The group was formed in 1998 and quickly rose to fame by starring in their own BBC television series, Miami 7. In their five years together, S Club 7 had four UK number-one singles, one UK number-one album, and a string of hits throughout Europe as well as a Top 10 hit on the US Hot 100, with their 2000 single "Never Had a Dream Come True". They recorded four studio albums, released 11 singles and went on to sell over 10 million albums worldwide.

MAX is a Japanese female vocal group. The name is an acronym for "musical active experience". The original members of MAX made their musical debut as members of the Super Monkey's along with lead vocalist Namie Amuro. They branched out on their own in 1995, becoming stars in their own right with selling several million albums and a string of consecutive top 20 singles from 1996 to 2000. Their lead singer, Mina, left the group in 2002 due to pregnancy and was replaced by Aki Maeda who assumed the stage name Aki. Aki left the group in August 2008 to pursue a solo career. Sawyer Brown is an American country music band. It was founded in 1981 in Apopka, Florida, by Mark Miller, Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard, Bobby Randall, Joe "Curly" Smyth (drums), and Jim Scholten. The five musicians were originally members of country singer Don King's road band, but chose to stay together after King retired in 1981. After competing on the television competition series Star Search and winning that show's grand prize, they signed to Capitol Records in 1984. The band recorded for Capitol between then and 1991, and for Curb Records between 1991 and 2005, except for a short time in 2003 when they were signed to Lyric Street Records. Duncan Cameron, formerly of the Amazing Rhythm Aces, replaced Randall in 1991, and Shayne Hill replaced him in 2004.
LFO were an American pop and hip hop band consisting of singers Devin Lima, Brad Fischetti, and Rich Cronin. Before Lima joined the group in 1999, the third member was Brian Gillis, who was with the group from its start in 1995; the group disbanded after Cronin's death in 2010 but briefly reunited in 2017 before Lima's own death a year later. Their single "Summer Girls" reached number 3 on the Billboard charts, and the band has sold over four million records worldwide.
Bucks Fizz are an English pop group that achieved success in the 1980s, most notably for winning the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Making Your Mind Up". The group was formed in January 1981 specifically for the contest and comprised four vocalists: Bobby G, Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan and Jay Aston. They received attention for the dance routine which accompanied the song, in which the male members of the group ripped the female members' outer skirts off to reveal much shorter mini-skirts beneath. The group went on to have a successful career around the world, but the UK remained their biggest market, where they had three No.1 singles with "Making Your Mind Up" (1981), "The Land of Make Believe" (1981) and "My Camera Never Lies" (1982) and became one of the top-selling groups of the 1980s. They also had UK Top 10 hits with "Now Those Days Are Gone" (1982), "If You Can't Stand the Heat" (1982), "When We Were Young" (1983) and "New Beginning " (1986). Bucks Fizz have sold over 50 million records worldwide.
