Clouds of Smoke is a documentary directed and produced by Fatmir Terziu. [1] It explores the recent phenomenon of global warming and asks several environmental questions. It mainly focuses on the environmental damage caused by Albania, especially its biggest industrial city, Elbasan. The documentary started as a collaboration with Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), and it was created for the purpose of educating students at London South Bank University. It was chosen to be shown at Curzon, London, the first documentary directed by an Albanian director to be selected.

It chronicles a group of three Cree families from the Mistassini region of Quebec as they set up a winter hunting camp near James Bay and Ungava Bay. Milto Sotir Gurra was an Albanian journalist and short story writer of the 20th century. His first works came out during the last period of the Albanian National Awakening and continued for a 50-year period. Although simple in character and at times permeated by naive sentimentality, his work reserves a certain importance in Albanian literature due to its social context and thematics. Gurra also translated to Albanian some of the masterpieces of classic Russian literature.

Fatmir Doga, began acting at the early age of five and played in more than seventy theater and television performances. His passion for arts made his teenage dreams come true when he won the competition vs hundreds of students, to enter the University of Arts of Albania in Tirana (1987–1991). These were the years that gave Fatmir the opportunity to meet the best actors of Albanian cinematography and practice his craft. With the knowledge he gained and his fiery fervor for the movie industry he dreamed about becoming a film director. After completing Academy of Fine Arts he worked in Albania and Italy. Fatmir moved to Canada in 1998 where he continued his career as an actor and director. Successively in 2008 he started working in Los Angeles where he produced and directed several feature films.
