The Coat of arms of Bali is a coat of arms consisting of a pentagonal shield in shape with a dark blue background and the words Bali Dwipa Jaya in Balinising Sanskrit which means 'Victorious Bali Island', inside there are pictures of star, Margarana Heroes Temple, Candi bentar, chains, Balinese fans, lotus flowers, paddy and cotton. This is adopted in 1969, based on Bali Province Regional Regulation No. 18 of 1969. [1]

Symbolism

The regional coat of arms of Bali Province is in the form of a pentagon with a dark blue base color with a white border. Inside the pentagon are the following paintings:

  1. Golden Yellow Star, is a symbol of the Almighty God;
  2. Temple, is a Margarana Heroes Temple (Candi Pahlawan Margarana) which depicts the heroic spirit of the Balinese people in particular and the Indonesian people in general;
  3. Candi bentar, is a great religious symbol of the Balinese people;
  4. Chain, is a chain that runs from left to right symbolizing unity (mutual cooperation);
  5. Balinese Traditional Hand Fans, symbolizes the arts and culture of the Bali Region;
  6. Red Lotus Flower (Padma) is a symbol of the throne of lord Shiva in Hinduism;
  7. Paddy and Cotton, symbolize prosperity. [2] [3]

The regional coat of arms of the Province of Bali is in the form of a pentagon with a dark blue base symbol; Star, Temple, Candi Bentar, Paddy and Cotton edges and Balinese Hand Fans in golden yellow; Chain and Lotus in dark red; Base of writing, cotton flower, rice fruit, around the symbol in white; writing Bali Dwipa Jaya in dark blue. The meaning of the colors is as follows:

  1. The dark blue base color means tolerance;
  2. The golden yellow color means noble/majestic;
  3. The red color means heroism;
  4. The white color means holy. [6] [7]

Motto

Bali Province has a motto bali dwipa jaya which is found on the coat of arms of the Bali Province which means "Victorious Bali Island" the word is taken from Balinising Sanskrit. [8] [9]
