The Ontario Lacrosse Association is a not-for-profit sport organization and a member association of the Canadian Lacrosse Association, the national governing body for lacrosse in Canada. The Ontario Lacrosse Association is the largest provincial lacrosse governing body within Canada. The mission of the OLA is to govern, improve, foster, and perpetuate the sport of lacrosse in Ontario. It was established in 1897.
The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) is a Junior A ice hockey league in Ontario, Canada. It is under the supervision of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) and the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL).
Ontario Series Lacrosse, known as the OLA Senior B Lacrosse League from 1999-2019, is a Senior box lacrosse league based out of Ontario, Canada sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association. Many of the players in the league play or have played in the National Lacrosse League. OSL winners earn a chance at the national championship—the Presidents Cup.
Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) is a Senior A box lacrosse league based in Ontario, Canada sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association. Most of the star players in the league play or have played in the National Lacrosse League. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the right to compete against the Western Lacrosse Association champion for the Mann Cup every September. The championship is hosted alternately between Ontario and British Columbia every year.

Ryan Benesch is a Canadian professional lacrosse player who plays for the Halifax Thunderbirds in the National Lacrosse League. Benesch has also played for the Albany FireWolves, Colorado Mammoth, Buffalo Bandits, Minnesota Swarm, Edmonton Rush, Toronto Rock, and Panther City LC and was the 2011 NLL scoring leader. Benesch was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
The Kitchener–Waterloo Kodiaks were a Senior "A" box lacrosse team from Waterloo, Ontario. The Kodiaks played in the Eastern Division of the Major Series Lacrosse Senior "A" Lacrosse League where they competed in a 20 game regular season from May through July and playoffs beginning in August and ending with the Mann Cup in September. The Kodiaks played their home games at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex, a multi-purpose recreational complex located in Waterloo, Ontario. After the 2015 season, the team moved to Cobourg, Ontario and became the Cobourg Kodiaks.
Pat McCready is a retired Canadian lacrosse player who played most of his National Lacrosse League career for Rochester Knighthawks, Buffalo Bandits, Toronto Rock, and Charlotte Cobras. As of 2013, he ranks third in NLL history in loose balls (1,593), second in penalty minutes (468), and seventh in games played (219).

Dhane Smith is a professional lacrosse player for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League and Chaos Lacrosse Club in the Premier Lacrosse League. Smith began his career in 2009 with the Kitchener-Waterloo Braves of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League, where he won the Green Gael Trophy as the league's MVP in 2012. Smith also played for the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks of Major Series Lacrosse, and the Victoria Shamrocks of the Western Lacrosse Association.
Andrew Watt is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League and the Peterborough Lakers of Major Series Lacrosse. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Watt began his career with the hometown Kitchener-Waterloo Braves of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League, with whom he played from 2001 to 2005. Watt was eventually called up to the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks, and has also played for the Six Nations Chiefs before continuing his MSL career with the Lakers. He played collegiality at Robert Morris University
Mitchell "Mitch" Wilde is a professional lacrosse player for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League and the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks of Major Series Lacrosse. Hailing from Brooklin, Ontario, Wilde attended Donald A. Wilson Secondary School, where he was named MVP of his lacrosse team in 2008 and 2009. He played collegiality at Robert Morris University.
Glen Bryan is a professional lacrosse player for the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League and the Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks of Major Series Lacrosse. Hailing from Orangeville, Ontario, Bryan began his amateur career with the Orangeville Jr B Northmen, and worked his way up to the Jr A Northmen, with whom he won back-to-back Minto Cups in 2008 and 2009. He made his MSL debut in 2010 with the Brooklin Redmen, was drafted 5th overall by the Redmen in the 2011 MSL draft, and joined the Kodiaks in 2012. Bryan played collegiality at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he studied accounting.

He formerly played for the Calgary Roughnecks, the Toronto Rock and the Boston Blazers. He also plays for the Brooklin Redmen and formerly played with Kitchener-Waterloo Kodiaks and Six Nations Chiefs of Major Series Lacrosse.
The Wilmot Wild are a Canadian junior box lacrosse team from Baden, Ontario, Canada within Township of Wilmot. The Wild play in the Ontario Junior C Lacrosse League within the Ontario Lacrosse Association. Their home arena is the Wilmot Recreation Complex.
Evan Kirk, is a Canadian professional lacrosse goaltender in the National Lacrosse League, currently playing for the Rochester Knighthawks and for the Peterborough Lakers of the Major Series Lacrosse. He was a member of Team Canada during the 2010 World Lacrosse Championship.
Matthew Bennett is a professional lacrosse player for the Rochester Knighthawks and previously the Philadelphia Wings and Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League. As well as the Brampton Excelsiors of Major Series Lacrosse. Hailing from Brampton, Ontario, Bennett began his junior lacrosse career in 2010 with the Junior B Mimico Mountaineers. Starting in 2011, he spent four years with the Junior A Brampton Excelsiors. He also played for the Oshawa Machine and the Brampton Inferno of the Canadian Lacrosse League.
