Cody Frost is a British singer/songwriter who writes and performs alternative music.

Personal Life

Cody Frost's mother was also a singer, and performed in an ABBA tribute band. [1] [2] Frost attended Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic College in Burnley, UK, for secondary education. [3]

Frost has ADHD, a condition which is a key lyric in their song "Chaos." [2]

Before the release of their mixtape Teeth in 2022, Frost completed an apprenticeship as a tattoo artist. [2] They have also worked at a bar in the past. [4]

Cody Frost lists they/she/he pronouns on their Instagram page. [5]

Career

In 2015, Cody Frost was a contestant on The Voice UK series 5, which was aired starting January 2016. They performed a cover of "Ordinary World" and were eliminated in the final round of live shows.

In 2021, they began releasing their own music, [6] releasing the EP "IT'S NOT REAL" that year. [7]

In May 2022, they released a mixtape, "Teeth." [8]

In November 2024, they released a second EP, titled "Anatomy." [9]

She signed to EMI Records (former) in 2018 and subsequently released her first commercial EP Be Runway (2019), followed by her debut mixtape, 2000and4Eva (2020), which spawned the single "ATM" featuring Missy Elliott. Runway won the award for Best New International Act at the 2021 BET Awards, and was nominated for the 2022 Brit Award for Rising Star.

Ashnikko's debut mixtape, Demidevil, was released in January 2021, and spawned the singles "Daisy" and "Slumber Party". Her studio album, Weedkiller, came in 2023.

He gained recognition in January 2020 with the single "Frontline", which was the most-played track of 2020 on BBC Radio 1Xtra. His style blends elements of afrobeats, grime and UK drill. He released his debut mixtape titled Send Them to Coventry on 13 November 2020.
