Coen Verbraak (born August 14, 1965 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch journalist and television producer and presenter.

Verbraak has worked as in interviewer for various media, including the Dutch magazine Vrij Nederland .

As of 1997 he is also active in television. He made the program Achter de lach (literally "Behind the laughter") for Dutch television, showing the life behind the scenes of Dutch cabaretiers. [1] In 2009 he created the program Kijken in de ziel (literally "Gazing into the soul"), a series in which prominent people from a specific occupational group are interviewed about their work and their life. In 2014 the documentary Getekend, veteranen in therapie (literally "Marked, veterans in therapy") was released, in which Verbraak spent a year following veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder as they undergo therapy at Landelijk Zorgsysteem voor Veteranen (LZV) (literally "Dutch national care system for veterans"). This was the first time that an independent reporter was allowed access to the professional veterans' care system in The Netherlands.

Verbraak himself is often featured in talkshows. He appeared in De Wereld Draait Door [2] and Knevel & Van den Brink.

Mohammed Benzakour is a Moroccan-Dutch columnist, essayist, poet, writer and politician. He is the third child in a family of five. At age three, he and mother and siblings settle in Zwijndrecht, Netherlands, where his father worked. He graduated from high school at vwo level and studied sociology at Leiden University and later political science and moved to Rotterdam to finish his master. Meanwhile, he joined the Labour Party. He started his journalism career working for De Volkskrant and also published in NRC Handelsblad, De Groene Amsterdammer and Vrij Nederland. <i>De Wereld Draait Door</i> Dutch television show

De Wereld Draait Door also known by the acronym DWDD was an early-evening talk show on Dutch television, broadcast every weekday at 7:00 p.m. on NPO 1. It is the Netherlands' longest-running, regularly scheduled TV entertainment show and is also the program with the second-highest viewing figures on Dutch television, beaten only by the main evening news at 8.00 p.m. The show, created by Dieuwke Wynia and produced by BNNVARA, was discontinued after the last episode on 27 March 2020.

Zondag met Lubach was a Dutch weekly satirical television programme presented by Arjen Lubach and broadcast on NPO 3. Each week Lubach talked for half an hour about the news of the past week through various fragments from the media infographics and investigative journalism. The show's main scriptwriters were Tex de Wit and Pieter Jouke. The program was recorded in the main auditorium of the Theater Bellevue in Amsterdam.
