Colasposoma atrocyaneum is a species of leaf beetle found in Socotra Island in Yemen, described by Stefano Zoia in 2012. [2] The species name refers to the dark blue color of nearly all the specimens examined, though the species can also have a green color. [1]

In 2004, it became attached to the Hadhramaut Governorate, which is much closer to the island than Aden. In 2013, the archipelago became its own governorate, the Socotra Governorate.
