Colince Ngaha Poungoue (born 26 September 1981) is a former Ukrainian professional footballer who played as a striker. He is of Cameroonian descent. After retiring from playing, Poungoue also worked as a manager. He became the first Afro-Ukrainian athlete who was appointed a head coach of professional club in Ukraine. [1]
In 2006–2008 Colince played for Moldovan club from town of Otaci over Dniester that lies near Ukrainian town of Mohyliv-Podilskyi also upon Dniester.
With Moldovan club Colince played at continental competitions, the 2007–08 UEFA Cup, against the Hungarian side Budapest Honvéd.
During the 2008 summer transfer season, he transferred to Zorya from Moldovan Premier League side Nistru Otaci. Due to an injury in 2008, [1] [2] Colince only played one game at the top league scoring his first and his last goal at the Ukrainian Premier League. [2] Later he managed to recover and transferred to FC Stal Alchevsk [1] in 2010. Until dissolution in 2015, he played at the Alchevsk club. After that moved back to Podillia (Vinnytsia).
In 2016 Ngaha has acted as a head coach after dismissal of Solovyanenko. [3]
In 2019 he was already appointed as a full-pledged head coach of the club. [4]
Ngaha graduated Technical University in Vinnytsia. He is married with a Ukrainian woman and has two children Ivan and Christian. [1] Ivan Ngaha actively trains at the Dynamo Kyiv Football School. [1]
In August 2017 Colince Ngaha got a Ukrainian citizenship. [5]
Ngaha also established own football school in Vinnytsia for children. [1] He is a polyglot knowing English, French, Russian, and Ukrainian languages. [1]
Ngaha has a great respect for former head coach of FC Stal Alchevsk Anatoliy Volobuyev. [1]
FC Stal Alchevsk was a Ukrainian professional football team of the Ukrainian First League that is based in Alchevsk. In the 2012–13 season the club won promotion to the Ukrainian Premier League, but the club refused this promotion "for the sake of the fans". In 2015, Stal withdrew from all Ukrainian competitions due to the escalating conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
FC Nyva Ternopil is a Ukrainian football club from the city of Ternopil, the administrative center of Ternopil Oblast. As of the 2020–21 season, it played in the Ukrainian First League, the second tier of Ukrainian football, following promotion from the 2019–20 Ukrainian Second League. Originally the club was formed as Nyva Pidhaitsi in the small town Pidhaitsi in 1978, then moved to a district centre Berezhany changing its name to Nyva Berezhany in 1982, and finally moved to Ternopil becoming Nyva Ternopil in 1985. FC Nyva Vinnytsia is a Ukrainian professional football club based in the city of Vinnytsia. The name "Nyva" translates to "grain field". The club was originally created in 1958 in the Soviet Union and folded in 2005 and 2012, but was reformed again in 2015 as Nyva-V and renamed back to Nyva in 2018.
