The Colorado Soccer Association is the governing body of soccer in the state of Colorado. The organization was established in 1978 and the current CEO is Nate Shotts. [1]

It consists of 54 state associations in four regions, as well as national, regional, and state leagues. The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) is the governing body for all high school activities throughout the state of Colorado. The Association hold championships for 29 different sports for both boys and girls, plus competitions in esports, music, sportsmanship, student council, and spirit.
Denver Kickers are an American soccer club, founded in 1956. The club fields a number of teams at the adult and youth levels. The Kickers premier team plays in the United States Adult Soccer Association sanctioned Colorado Adult Soccer Association, formerly the Colorado State Soccer Association. The Colorado State University Pueblo ThunderWolves are the athletic teams at Colorado State University Pueblo. The ThunderWolves are a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. They were previously known as the University of Southern Colorado Indians and then the University of Southern Colorado ThunderWolves. The program includes 7 men's sports: baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, tennis, and wrestling. The women's program has 8 sports: basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball and track. Dropped following the 1984 season, football returned in 2008 and the team posted a 4–6 record. The ThunderWolves won the 2014 NCAA Division II Football National Championship, its first in football program history, by blanking previously undefeated Minnesota State University, Mankato 13–0.
The Air Force Falcons men's soccer program represents the United States Air Force Academy in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. Founded in 1956, the Falcons compete as associate members in the Western Athletic Conference. They are coached by Doug Hill and Assistant Coach Chris Foster. Air Force plays their home matches at Cadet Soccer Stadium.

FC Denver is an American Soccer Club based in Denver, Colorado. The 2017 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament was the 36th annual single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of NCAA Division I women's collegiate soccer. The semifinals and championship game were played at Orlando City Stadium in Orlando, Florida on December 1 and 3, 2017, while the preceding rounds were played at various sites across the country during November 2017. The Stanford Cardinal were tournament champions, winning the final 3–2 over the UCLA Bruins.

Cedar Stars Rush are an American soccer club competing in the USL League Two. They are owned by Cedar Stars Academy which has numerous branches in the Tri-State area with the two primary locations being in Bergen County, NJ and Monmouth County, NJ. They are an official member club of the MLS Next which is a youth soccer league in the United States and Canada, that is managed, organized and controlled by Major League Soccer. They are also owned by Rush Soccer, who also back three other USL2 sides – Colorado Rush SC, Daytona Rush SC, Virginia Beach United.
