Heavenly is a French power metal band based in Marseille that was formed in 1993 in Paris by vocalist Benjamin Sotto and drummer Max Pilo, originally as a cover band under the name of Satan's Lawyer. In 1994, they changed their name to "Heavenly" and evolved into a full-fledged Helloween-influenced power metal outfit. In 1998, they released a three-track demo with new guitarist Anthony Parker. However, Parker's time with the band was to be short lived, leaving before a record deal with Noise Records was clinched. Heavenly then found a replacement in Chris Savourey and completed their lineup with bassist Laurent Jean.
The Forgotten Tales is the first compilation album by German power metal band Blind Guardian. It was published in 1996. The cover artwork was created by Andreas Marschall. "'The Forgotten Tales'" contains several cover versions of popular songs, including "Mr. Sandman", "Surfin' U.S.A.", and "Spread Your Wings" as well as alternate versions of the band's previous works. Remastered and re-released on 15 June 2007, with bonus tracks and videos.

Iron Savior is a German power metal band that was formed in Hamburg in 1996. Following a period of several years working behind the scenes in music production, multi-instrumentalist and producer/engineer Piet Sielck joined with former Helloween bandmate Kai Hansen and then-drummer for Blind Guardian, Thomen Stauch in a new project that would blend power metal with a high-concept science fiction story. The band's debut album Iron Savior introduced the story that would be told over the course of multiple albums, featuring a self-aware space vessel called the Iron Savior and its relationship to the mythical lost civilization of Atlantis.

Megatropolis is Iron Savior's sixth full-length album, released on June 4, 2007. It was recorded, mixed and engineered at Powerhouse Studios in Hamburg in February 2007 with the drums being recorded at HammerMusic in January 2007. The album was re-released in 2015 as Megatropolis 2.0 with partly re-recorded vocal tracks, new mixed sound and a different track listing, as the band was dissatisfied with the original product. It is the last album to feature Yenz Leonhardt on bass, who would then join Stormwarrior shortly that year.
Dark Assault is the third studio album by the German power metal band Iron Savior. It continues the science fiction story that the band introduced on their debut album Iron Savior and continued on Unification and the Interlude EP. It is the first album to feature guitarist Joachim Küstner and the last to feature Kai Hansen before committing himself back to his band Gamma Ray.

Live at the Final Frontier is the debut live album by German heavy metal band Iron Savior, released on 29 May 2015 via AFM Records. It was recorded live in Hamburg, Germany on 10 January 2015 during their tour of Rise of the Hero. It contains two CDs and a DVD featuring the band's performance plus bonus video material and additional backstage and concert footage.
Titancraft is the ninth studio album by German heavy/power metal band Iron Savior. It was released on 20 May 2016 by AFM Records and on 25 May 2016 by Japanese-based record label Avalon. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at Powerhouse Studio in Hamburg from September 2015 - February 2016 with the bass being recorded at John Zorn MR. It is the last album to feature long time drummer Thomas Nack when he departed the band in 2017.
