The Consulate-General of North Korea in Karachi [lower-alpha 1] is a diplomatic mission of North Korea in Pakistan.
The consulate is primarily concerned with economic, business and commercial relations, and works under the North Korean embassy in Islamabad. [1] The consulate building is a small "compound with flags flapping at the gate" and has a "discreet, unobtrusive" presence. [1] Various consulate staff are posted in the mission. [2] [3] [4]
Pakistan has both diplomatic and economic relationships with North Korea. The start of relations between the two countries emerged sometime in the 1970s during the democratic prime ministerialship of Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, when he made a state visit to North Korea as part of his foreign policy campaign to strengthen the relations with socialist states. Pakistan has an embassy in Pyongyang while North Korea maintains an embassy in Islamabad, a vast Consulate-General in Karachi, and consulates in other cities of Pakistan.
As of May 2024, there are 70 diplomatic missions in Hong Kong, of which 62 are consulates-general and 8 are officially recognised bodies in Hong Kong. As Hong Kong has the status of a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, some consuls-general in Hong Kong report directly to their respective foreign ministries, rather than to their Embassies in Beijing.

The present UAE ambassador to Pakistan is H.E. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi. The UAE also has a Consulate-General in Karachi.

The Deputy High Commission of Bangladesh in Karachi is a diplomatic mission of Bangladesh in Pakistan. It is located in Phase VI of the Defence Housing Authority in Karachi. The presently designated Deputy High Commissioner is S. M. Mahbubul Alam, who was appointed in 2021. The Deputy High Commission reports to the High Commission of Bangladesh in Islamabad.
