Consular services

The consulate is primarily concerned with economic, business and commercial relations, and works under the North Korean embassy in Islamabad. [1] The consulate building is a small "compound with flags flapping at the gate" and has a "discreet, unobtrusive" presence. [1] Various consulate staff are posted in the mission. [2] [3] [4]

The present UAE ambassador to Pakistan is H.E. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi. The UAE also has a Consulate-General in Karachi.

The Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Islamabad is the diplomatic mission of North Korea to Pakistan. As of 2018, Kim Thae-sop is the Ambassador to Pakistan. North Korea also maintains a Consulate-General in Karachi, Pakistan.

The Deputy High Commission of Bangladesh in Karachi is a diplomatic mission of Bangladesh in Pakistan. It is located in Phase VI of the Defence Housing Authority in Karachi. The presently designated Deputy High Commissioner is S. M. Mahbubul Alam, who was appointed in 2021. The Deputy High Commission reports to the High Commission of Bangladesh in Islamabad.
