Breakfast Television is a Canadian morning television program that is broadcast on Rogers Media's television network Citytv. Jodie Emery is a Canadian cannabis rights activist and politician. She is the spouse of fellow activist Marc Emery. Until the business was shut down by police, the couple were co-owners of Cannabis Culture, a business that franchised pot dispensaries, later deemed to be illegal. The 100 Mile Challenge is a Canadian reality television series produced by Paperny Entertainment and aired on Food Network Canada. The series follows the lives and eating habits of six families living in Mission, British Columbia, who, for a period of 100 days, agreed to only consume food and drink that has been grown, raised and produced within a 100-mile radius from Mission. The series is based on the concept of local food consumption as described in the book The 100-Mile Diet authored by J.B. MacKinnon and Alisa Smith where the two authors describe their experience of eating locally for one full year. To coincide with the premiere of the series, FoodTV.ca launched a companion website that Canwest described as "the largest, most innovative and interactive companion website to a series to date".

World's Weirdest Restaurants is a Canadian reality television series produced by Paperny Entertainment that airs on Food Network Canada. The series follows host Bob Blumer as he travels the world searching for weird and unusual restaurants. Several of the Japan episodes featured TV host and arranger La Carmina, who wrote a book about bizarre Tokyo theme restaurants. Among the restaurants featured include a nudist restaurant in New York, a Japanese restaurant with monkey waiters, and Taiwanese restaurant which serves curry from miniature toilets. The series, which premiered April 4, 2012, has filmed in a number of cities around the world, including Tokyo, New York, Taipei, London and Vancouver.
Alone is an American survival competition series on History. It follows the self-documented daily struggles of 10 individuals as they survive alone in the wilderness for as long as possible using a limited amount of survival equipment. With the exception of medical check-ins, the participants are isolated from each other and all other humans. They may "tap out" at any time, or be removed due to failing a medical check-in. The contestant who remains the longest wins a grand prize of $500,000. The seasons have been filmed across a range of remote locations, usually on Indigenous-controlled lands, including northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Nahuel Huapi National Park in Argentine, Patagonia, Northern Mongolia, Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories, and Chilko Lake in interior British Columbia.
Coroner is a Canadian police procedural crime drama television series. Developed by Morwyn Brebner, the series is based on the Jenny Cooper crime novels by M. R. Hall. Serinda Swan stars as coroner Jenny Cooper. Coroner premiered on CBC on 7 January 2019.
