Coolderry GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the town of Coolderry in County Offaly, Ireland. The club is the most successful side in the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship with a record 31 titles. Its facilities include a clubhouse with four dressing rooms, floodlights, ball wall, two pitches, a running track and a gym. Its most recent win was 2018 beating Kilcormac Kiloughey.

History

The club was founded in the early 1880s. Coolderry's first victory was in 1890 when Coolderry beat Kilcormac, but Offaly was not at that time affiliated to the central body, the win was not officially recognised. The team's first Senior Final winning team was in 1899. Between 1899 and 1916 Coolderry won 10 Senior Titles, and in the 10 Championship Finals they only conceded 2 goals. Coolderry have appeared in 48 Offaly Senior Hurling Finals. In 2011, Coolderry won their first ever Leinster Senior Club Hurling Championship title. [1] [2] [3]

Joe Brady is an Irish Hurler. He currently plays with his local club Coolderry GAA. He is on the Offaly Hurling Squad and captained the Coolderry 2004 Offaly Senior Hurling Championship winning team, he won 2 other titles in 2010 and 2011 and also won a Leinster title in 2011.

Seir Kieran takes its name from Saint Ciarán of Saighir, who founded the parish as a civitas in the 5th century. Kilcormac–Killoughey GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the areas of Kilcormac and Killoughey, County Offaly, Ireland. The club was founded in 1986 and fields teams in hurling and football. The club won its first ever Offaly Senior Hurling Championship in 2012 and retained the title in 2013.

The 2013 Offaly Senior Hurling Championship was the 115th staging of the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment in 1896. The championship began on 10 May 2013 and ended on 6 October 2013.

The 2012 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship final was a hurling match played at Croke Park on 17 March 2012 to determine the winners of the 2011–12 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, the 42nd season of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, a tournament organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association for the champion clubs of the four provinces of Ireland. The final was contested by Loughgiel Shamrocks of Antrim and Coolderry of Offaly, with Loughgiel Shamrocks winning by 4-13 to 0-17.

Pat McLoughney was an Irish hurling selector and player. His league and championship career with the Offaly senior team lasted eleven seasons from 1971 until 1980.

The Offaly county hurling team represents Offaly in hurling and is governed by Offaly GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the Joe McDonagh Cup and the National Hurling League.
