Little Italy, sometimes referred to as College Street West, is a district in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is known for its Italian Canadian restaurants and businesses. There is also a significant Latin-Canadian and Portuguese-Canadian community in the area. The district is centred on a restaurant/bar/shopping strip along College Street, centred on College Street, imprecisely between Harbord Street and Dundas Street, and spreading out east and west between Bathurst Street and Ossington Avenue. It is contained within the larger city-recognized neighbourhood of Palmerston-Little Italy.

Italian Canadians comprise Canadians who have full or partial Italian heritage and Italians who migrated from Italy or reside in Canada. According to the 2016 Census of Canada, 1,587,970 Canadians claimed full or partial Italian ancestry. The census enumerates the entire Canadian population, which consists of Canadian citizens, landed immigrants and non-permanent residents and their families living with them in Canada. Telegatto Italian television award

Telegatto, was an Italian television award first conceived in 1971 following the contest Gran Premio internazionale dello Spettacolo, though the first award ceremony wasn't held until 1984. It was sponsored by the weekly magazine TV Sorrisi e Canzoni and broadcast on Canale 5. The prize was a golden cat statue with the network's initials on its face. It was inspired by a cartoon from the television series Super Classifica Show, a cult show in the 1980s and early 1990s. The award ceremony was cancelled in 2009.

Frank Corrado is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing with Dinamo Riga in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Corrado was selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the fifth round, 150th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He signed a three-year entry level contract with the Canucks after a successful training camp. Corrado would spend 4 years within the Canucks organization before being claimed by the Toronto Maple Leafs in October, 2015.

Federico Leonardo Lucia, better known by his stage name Fedez, is an Italian rapper, influencer, singer and songwriter. In 2011, he released the albums Penisola che non c'è and Il mio primo disco da venduto, released as free digital downloads. His first studio album, Sig. Brainwash – L'arte di accontentare, was released in 2013, and it debuted at number one on the Italian Albums Chart. The album, which spawned three singles, including the top 10 hit "Cigno nero" featuring Francesca Michielin, was later certified 3× Platinum by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry. Corrado Miraglia was an Italian operatic tenor and in his later years a voice teacher and theatrical agent.
