The geography of Argentina describes the geographic features of Argentina, a country located in Southern South America. Bordered by the Andes in the west and the South Atlantic Ocean to the east, neighbouring countries are Chile to the west, Bolivia and Paraguay to the north, and Brazil and Uruguay to the northeast.
Río Negro is a province of Argentina, located at the northern edge of Patagonia. Neighboring provinces are from the south clockwise Chubut, Neuquén, Mendoza, La Pampa and Buenos Aires. To the east lies the Atlantic Ocean.

It is located within the Nahuel Huapi National Park. After development of extensive public works and Alpine-styled architecture, the city emerged in the 1930s and 1940s as a major tourism centre with skiing, trekking and mountaineering facilities. In addition, it has numerous restaurants, cafés, and chocolate shops. The city has a permanent population of 108,205 according to the 2010 census. According to the latest statistics from 2015, the population is around 122,700, and a projection for 2020 estimates 135,704.

Nahuelito is a cryptid lake monster purported to live in Nahuel Huapi Lake, Patagonia, Argentina. Like Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster, the Argentine creature is named after the lake it supposedly resides in and has been described as a giant serpent or a huge hump, as well as a plesiosaur. Nahuelito has been allegedly shown through photos showing a hump, or a serpentine body.
The Limay River is an important river in the northwestern Argentine Patagonia. It originates at the eastern end of the Nahuel Huapi Lake and flows in a meandering path for about 380 kilometres (240 mi), collecting the waters of several tributaries, such as the Traful River, the Pichileufú and the Collón Curá. It then meets the Neuquén River and together they become the Río Negro. At this confluence lies the city of Neuquén.

Huemul Island is an island in the Nahuel Huapi Lake, off the shore of San Carlos de Bariloche, a city in the province of Río Negro, Argentina, at 41°06′23″S71°23′42″W. It derives its name from the Mapuche chief Güemul, whose tribe inhabited the area. Considered a historical and ecological touristic attraction, it has recently been conceded to the municipality of Bariloche after licitations with the government of Río Negro.
The Manso River is a river of Rio Negro Province of Argentina and Los Lagos Region of Chile, both part of Patagonia. The Manso River is located in the Andes. It follows a winding route through snow-capped mountains and connects many glacial lakes. The Manso flows generally southward until its confluence with the Puelo River in Chile. The river while in Argentina flows through the Nahuel Huapi National Park. Most of the southern part of Nahuel Huapi is in the drainage basin of the Manso River.

The port is located where the Frías river discharges into Lake Nahuel Huapi, within the Nahuel Huapi National Park at 808 meters above sea level, and is part of a tourist path that connects the city of Bariloche with Lake Frías and the Cántaros waterfall.
Villa Mascardi is a village and municipality in Río Negro Province in Argentina. It is named after the 17th century Jesuit Nicolás Mascardi who was active in the Nahuel Huapi area. Villa Mascardi lies at the shores of Mascardi Lake.
Nahuel Huapi National Park is the oldest national park in Argentina, established in 1934. It surrounds Nahuel Huapi Lake in the foothills of the Patagonian Andes. The largest of the national parks in the region, it has an area of 7,050 km2 (2,720 sq mi), or nearly 2 million acres. Its landscapes represent the north Patagonian Andean Zone consisting of three types, namely, the Altoandino, the Andino-Patagónico and the Patagonian steppe. It also represents small parts of the Valdivian Rainforest.
The Mission of Nahuel Huapi was an intermittent Jesuit mission that existed in colonial times on the shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake, northern Patagonia. The exact locations of the missions are not known but it has been suggested, based on a Christian grave finding, that the mission of the early 18th century was located in Huemul Peninsula.

It is located in large plot of land close to the Nahuel Huapi Lake, surrounded by beautiful gardens, and is within the Diocese of Bariloche, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Bahía Blanca.
Modesta Victoria is a passenger ship which travels on the Nahuel Huapi Lake inside the National Park of the same name in Río Negro, Argentina.
Fonck Lake is a lake in the Andes of northern Patagonia in the Argentine Río Negro Province. The lake is named after the German naturalist Franz Fonck. Southern river otter has been reported in the lake for the first time in 2022.
