Country Fest is an annual music festival held in late June at the Amphitheater Venue in Cadott, Wisconsin. Established in 1987, it is the largest country music and camping event in the United States. [ citation needed ]

Overview

Country Fest is three days of music and entertainment on the grounds of a permanent festival site that is now one of the longest running summer festivals in the country.

Country Fest is held in a natural 380-acre amphitheater in central Wisconsin. The main stage, four side stages, and surrounding infrastructure are permanent structures with over 7,500 campsites surrounding the concert grounds. [1] Major performances are scheduled for the main stage each day of the three-day event. Regional bands perform at various times on the side stages between the main stage and the Crossroads hilltop stage throughout the festival. VIP, Reserved, Reserved Lawn, or General Admission ticket packages are often available along with Camping & Pit Passes for all three days. Changes are often being made to improve the festival experience at Country Fest and are often posted on the website. [2]

Acts that have performed at Country Fest, include Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Johnny Cash, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, and Miranda Lambert as well as Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line and Tim McGraw. The Pemberton Festival was a three-day summer music festival inaugurated in 2008. It was held in Pemberton, British Columbia, a village just north of popular ski resort Whistler. Produced by Live Nation Canada, the festival featured primarily rock and indie rock musicians, with a small proportion of hip hop. Musicians played on one of two stages, picturesquely situated at the foot of Mount Currie and the surrounding mountain range. Summer Meltdown is an annual camping and music festival in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. NGOM Fest is a music festival established in Prizren, Kosovo. The word "Ngom" is written in Gheg Albanian dialect and it means "Listen to me" whereas the word "Fest" represents the abbreviation of the word "Festival". This Festival originates from a group of young and creative people who are active in the social life of Prizren and Kosovo. The first edition of the festival was held in June 2011 and due to its major success, the activists were more committed in organizing this event. The main objectives of this festival are to promote new bands and artists, build a new perspective for music festivals in Kosovo, and to connect different ethnic groups in Kosovo and in the region.

Boomtown is a British music festival held annually on the Matterley Estate in South Downs National Park, near Winchester, Hampshire. It was first held in 2009 and has been held at its current site since 2011. Its diverse line-up of bands, DJs and speakers perform on many different stages each a part of a district with its own individual theme. Each yearly event is known as a Chapter and expands on the story line from the previous year, told through the sets, live actors and many forms of alternate reality games. The festival site is split into several districts, and the narrative is reflected in the design of the districts, streets and venues, which are populated by hundreds of actors to play the role of inhabitants. The large scale of the sets and infrastructure require six weeks of construction, and a month of disassembly.
