Courtney Cox is an American guitarist and former member of the all-female tribute band The Iron Maidens and currently the lead guitarist for heavy metal band Burning Witches.
A native of Philadelphia, Courtney Cox started playing guitar around age 13. At 15, she enrolled at The Paul Green School of Rock Music. During her tenure there, she performed in U.S tours with acts including Jon Anderson and Adrian Belew, performing with such artists as George Lynch and Perry Farrell. During that time, Cox co-founded an all-female King Diamond tribute band called Queen Diamond. [2]
At age 19, Cox moved to Los Angeles. In December 2008, she was invited to be a guest performer with the Iron Maidens, and later she became an official member of the band. As a member of the Maidens, Cox's stage name is "Adriana Smith", a female version of Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith. [3] She has also performed several national and international concert tours in the U.S. and in Japan. [1] [4] [5] [6] [7] Cox performed with members of Phantom Blue at the Michelle Meldrum Memorial Concert in May 2009 at the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood, California. [2]
As the first female artist for Caparison Guitars, Cox released the "signature model Horus-M3 CC". In 2010, she placed runner-up in Guitar World 's Buyer's Guide Model Search. [8]
In 2023, Courtney is currently a lead guitarist for Swiss metal band Burning Witches filling in for Larissa Ernst while Larissa is expecting a child.

Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band formed in Leyton, East London, in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. Although fluid in the early years of the band, the line-up for most of the band's history has consisted of Harris, lead vocalist Bruce Dickinson, drummer Nicko McBrain, and guitarists Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers. As pioneers of the new wave of British heavy metal movement, Iron Maiden released a series of UK and US Platinum and Gold albums, including 1980's debut album, 1981's Killers, and 1982's The Number of the Beast – its first album with Bruce Dickinson, who in 1981 replaced Paul Di'Anno as lead singer. The addition of Dickinson was a turning point in their career, establishing them as one of heavy metal's most important bands. The Number of the Beast is among the most popular heavy metal albums of all time, having sold almost 20 million copies worldwide.
Stephen Percy Harris is an English musician and songwriter, best known as the bassist, keyboardist, backing vocalist, primary songwriter, founder, and leader of heavy metal band Iron Maiden. He is the band's only constant member since their inception in 1975 and, along with guitarist Dave Murray, the only member to appear on every album.
DevilDriver is an American heavy metal band from Santa Barbara, California, formed in 2002, consisting of vocalist Dez Fafara, bassist Jon Miller, rhythm guitarist Alex Lee and drummer Davier Pérez. The band was originally named Deathride, however, due to copyright issues and the name being taken by several bands, the band changed its name to DevilDriver.

Warlock was a German heavy metal band founded in 1982 in Düsseldorf by members of the underground bands Snakebite and Beast. "The Trooper" is a song by the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released as the second single on 20 June 1983 from the band's fourth studio album, Piece of Mind (1983). It was one of only a few songs to achieve frequent radio airplay in the United States, thus peaking at No. 28 on the US Billboard Mainstream Rock. Metal Gathering Tour Live in Japan 2010 is a Japan-only live video by the all-female tribute band The Iron Maidens. Recorded live during their tour in Japan in January 2010, it was the band's first release with new lead vocalist Kirsten Rosenberg and new guitarist Courtney Cox, and also the last to feature guitarist Sara Marsh, who was released from the band after this tour.
