Chattogram Division, formerly known as Chittagong Division, is geographically the largest of the eight administrative divisions of Bangladesh. It covers the south-easternmost areas of the country, with a total area of 34,529.97 km2 (13,332.10 sq mi) and a population at the 2022 census of 33,202,326. The administrative division includes mainland Chittagong District, neighbouring districts and the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
Cox's Bazar is a district in the Chittagong Division of Bangladesh. It is named after Cox's Bazar town. It is located 150 kilometres (93 mi) south of Chittagong. Cox's Bazar is also known by the names Panowa and Palongkee. The modern Cox's Bazar derives its name from Captain Hiram Cox, an army officer who served in British India. It is one of the fishing ports of Bangladesh, and contains one of the world's longest natural sea beaches.

Cox's Bazar International Airport is an international airport in the resort town of Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh. It is in the process of being upgraded to an international airport. The airport serves the residents of Cox's Bazar as well as tourists to the region. Cox's Bazar Airport is undergoing massive expansion, which is due to be completed by 2023.

The Bangladesh women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Bangladesh in international women's cricket matches. They made their international debut when they played, and won, two matches against Thailand in July 2007 before participating in and winning the 2007 ACC Women's Tournament. Bangladesh were granted One-Day International (ODI) status in 2011 after finishing fifth in the 2011 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier. They subsequently qualified for the 2014 ICC Women's World Twenty20 as hosts, making their first appearance at a top-level women's international tournament. They have also won the 2018 edition of ACC Women's Asia Cup. This was the only instance in ACC Women's Asia Cup where any team other than India won the tournament. However, they finished fifth in the next edition of Women's Asia Cup, but has since went on to become one of the most competitive women's cricket teams in Asia. The team made its first World Cup appearance at the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup, and has participated in every edition of the World Twenty20 since making its debut at the 2014 edition.
Cox's Bazar Beach, located at Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, is the longest natural sea beach in the world running 120 kilometres (75 mi) and 5th longest beach after Praia do Cassino of Brazil, Padre Island on the US Gulf Coast, Eighty Mile Beach in Western Australia, and Ninety Mile Beach of Australia. It is the top tourist destination of Bangladesh.

The N1 or Dhaka–Chittagong Highway is the main transportation artery of Bangladesh, connecting the capital city of Dhaka and the southern port city of Chittagong. Approximately 465 kilometres in length, the highway starts at Jatrabari in Dhaka and ends at Teknaf in Cox's Bazar. The highway is known along certain stretches as the Chittagong–Cox's Bazar Highway and the Cox's Bazar–Teknaf Highway.

Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium is located beside the Madhumati River, Gopalganj, Bangladesh. Various types of sports events of Gopalganj district take place here. This stadium was redeveloped for the 2014 ICC World Twenty20. The stadium has an underground water drainage system, fully roofed gallery, giant screen, trivision side screen, floodlights and beautiful press box. The stadium complex includes a swimming pool, big gymnasium, separate power station, car parking facility and sports complex for women.
