Craig Alpert is an American film editor. Alpert has been in the industry for over 20 years and has edited over 20 feature films. Alpert began his career as an assistant editor at Pixar, where he worked on films such as Toy Story 2 . He then worked as an assistant editor on The Matrix Reloaded , Hulk , Meet the Fockers , and as an additional editor on The 40-Year-Old Virgin , and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby . Alpert has since gone on to edit several high-profile films. [1] Alpert was nominated for an ACE Award in 2021 for his work on Borat Subsequent Moviefilm as well in 2018 for his work on Deadpool 2 . [2] In 2007 Alpert was selected by the Hollywood Reporter as one of three film editors spotlighted in their “Crafts, the Next Generation” special issue.

Founded in 1950, American Cinema Editors (ACE) is an honorary society of film editors who are voted in based on the qualities of professional achievements, their education of others, and their dedication to editing. Members use the post-nominal letters "ACE". The organization's "Eddie Awards" are routinely covered in trade magazines such as The Hollywood Reporter and Variety. The society is not an industry union, such as the I.A.T.S.E., to which an editor might also belong. The current president of ACE is Kevin Tent, who was elected in 2020.

The American Cinema Editors Award for Best Edited Feature Film – Comedy is one of the annual awards given by the American Cinema Editors, awarded to what members of the American Cinema Editors Guild deem as the best edited comedic film for a given year. It was split off from American Cinema Editors Award for Best Edited Feature Film – Dramatic in 2000.

Ernst Ragnar Rolf, better known as Tom Rolf, was a Swedish-born American film editor who worked on at least 48 feature films in a career spanning over fifty years. Most notable among these films are Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver, for which he was nominated for the 1976 BAFTA Award for Best Editing, and Philip Kaufman's The Right Stuff, for which he and his editing team won the 1983 Oscar for Best Film Editing. Other notable films he edited include WarGames, Jacob's Ladder, Heat and The Horse Whisperer.
Craig William Macneill is an American film director, writer, and editor. His feature film Lizzie, starring Chloë Sevigny and Kristen Stewart, premiered in the U.S Dramatic Competition section at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. The film was acquired by Roadside Attractions and Saban Films and released theatrically in the fall of 2018. Macneill's first feature film, The Boy, premiered in the narrative competition at the 2015 SXSW Film Festival and which was also based on a previous short film he co-wrote, directed, and edited titled Henley, which screened in competition at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and won the grand jury prize for "Best Short Film" at the Gen Art Film Festival and Clint Eastwood’s Carmel Film and Arts Film Festival. Jennifer Lame is an American film editor. She is known for her work on Manchester by the Sea, Hereditary, Tenet, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and the films of Noah Baumbach. In 2023, Lame edited Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Film Editing. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is a 2022 American mystery film written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Johnson and Ram Bergman. It is a standalone sequel to the 2019 film Knives Out, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as master detective Benoit Blanc as he takes on a new case revolving around tech billionaire Miles Bron and his closest friends. He is best known internationally for his work on multiple Academy Award winner Parasite as editor, which earned him critical appraisal and recognition including an American Cinema Editors Award for Best Edited Feature Film – Dramatic at the American Cinema Editors Awards in 2020 and the 2019 Online Film Critics Society Award for Best Editing. This made Parasite the first non-English-language film to win the top prize at the American Cinema Editors' Eddie Awards. He is best known for his work with James Mangold on the films Ford v Ferrari (2019), Logan (2017), 3:10 to Yuma (2007), and Walk the Line (2005). Sylvester won the Academy Award for Best Sound Editing at the 92nd Academy Awards for Ford v Ferrari and BAFTA Award for Best Sound at the 59th British Academy Film Awards for Walk the Line.
