The ACT Brumbies is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT), The team competes in Super Rugby and named for the feral horses which inhabit the capital's hinterland. David Willmer Pocock is an Australian politician and former professional rugby union player. Raised in Gweru, Zimbabwe, Pocock moved to Australia as a teenager and played for the Australia national rugby team. He played primarily at openside flanker, and was vice captain of the Brumbies in Super Rugby. After his retirement, Pocock worked as a conservationist and social justice advocate. In the 2022 Australian federal election, Pocock ran as an independent candidate for one of the Australian Capital Territory's two Senate seats. He defeated Liberal incumbent senator Zed Seselja, ending the two major parties' duopoly on the ACT's Senate delegation which had been in place since the ACT was granted Senate representation in 1975.
Dan Palmer is an Australian rugby union coach and retired professional player. He was the lineout coach for the Australia national team at the 2023 Rugby World Cup and most recently was the Leicester Tigers scrum coach. He played for the New South Wales Waratahs and ACT Brumbies in Super Rugby, before a short stint with French club Grenoble. He also earned one cap for Australia in 2012. His usual position was tighthead prop.

Noah Lolesio is an Australian rugby union player who plays for the Brumbies in Super Rugby, and for the Wallabies. His playing position is Fly-half. He is also able to play as a centre. He has signed for the Brumbies squad in 2019. Lolesio graduated from The Southport School, in which he played in their first XV.
Graeme Stephen Geoffrey Bond is an Australian former professional rugby union player for the NSW Waratahs, ACT Brumbies and Sale Sharks. He represented Australia in five Test matches as a centre and winger.
