Creative Adult is an American rock band formed in 2012 in the North Bay, California.

History

Creative Adult began in 2012 with the release of their debut EP titled Dead Air via their own Broke Hatrè Records. [1] They released their second EP titled Bulls In The Yard the following year. [2]

In 2014, the band released the 'Deep End' single. [3] Also in 2014, the band released their debut full-length album titled Psychic Mess via Run For Cover, having traveled to Montreal's Hotel2Tango to record with Efrim Menuck. [4] [5] The album received generally favorable reviews, NME citing the band's "exploratory, intense" nature. [6]

In 2015 the band released a split 7-inch EP with Self Defense Family, both bands contributing one song. They also released a split with the band Wild Moth, [7] as well as the Ring Around The Room EP. [8]

The band has toured the United States with acts such as Ceremony, Self Defense Family, Japanther, Makthaverskan, Tony Molina, and Soulside.

In 2016, Michael Bingham and Michael Fenton left the band to create Spiritual Cramp. [9]

Mood Rings are an alternative rock band based in Atlanta. Debuting in 2011 with the EP Sweater Weather Forever, they have since been recognised nationally for their sound, which has been called "engaging" by The Guardian, "lush and ethereal" by BrooklynVegan, "dreamy post-punk" by Stereogum, and "lush, neon hued" by Spin Magazine. Their second single, "Pathos y Lagrimas" was featured in Converse's "Ready, Set: Get Lost" music series. Converse recorded and released a music video for the song on YouTube in October 2012. They released a limited edition silk-screened 7" of "Pathos y Lagrimas" and "333" for Record Store Day 2013, and performed an instore at Atlanta's Criminal Records. Their first album, VPI Harmony, was released on Mexican Summer on 25 June 2013. Heather Phares of Allmusic praised the album, saying "Held together by its oddly luxurious feel, VPI Harmony blends its many sounds and moods into a remarkable debut." When playing in Loring Park in Minneapolis, MN the band was rumored to play naked, when in fact they wore socks.

Sylvan Esso is an American electronic pop duo from Durham, North Carolina which was formed in 2013. The band consists of singer Amelia Meath and producer Nick Sanborn. They made their debut with the single "Hey Mami" and released their eponymous debut album on Partisan Records on May 12, 2014. It reached No. 39 on the Billboard 200. They released their second album, What Now, with Loma Vista Recordings on April 28, 2017, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

The band's current line-up consists of Patrick Flynn (vocals) and Shawn Costa (drums) of Have Heart, Alex Henery (guitar) of Basement, Alex Dow (guitar) of Big Contest and Nick Hinsch (bass) of Stand Off and Nuclear Age.

Annabel is an American emo band from Akron, Ohio. To date, Annabel has released four full-length albums. Their first album, titled Each and Everyone, was released in 2009. Annabel released an EP titled Here We Are Tomorrow in 2010. In 2012, Annabel released their second full-length album titled Youth In Youth. In 2014, Annabel released a split with Chicago emo band Dowsing. In 2015, Annabel released their third full-length album titled Having It All.

Spiritual Cramp is an American punk rock band formed in San Francisco, California in 2017. The band's musical style incorporates elements of various genres, including new wave, classic punk, reggae, and 1990s alternative rock. The band features Michael Bingham on vocals, Mike Fenton on bass, Jacob Breeze on lead guitar, Nate Punty on rhythm guitar, and Julian Smith on drums.
