Criminal Nation was an American hip-hop group whose members included D-Rob, Spade, Bumpy, MC Deff/Wojack, D-Wiz, Clee-Bone and Eugenius.
The group was active from 1990 to 1992 and then briefly in 2000.
Cracker is an American rock band formed in 1990 by lead singer David Lowery and guitarist Johnny Hickman. The band's first album Cracker was released in 1992 on Virgin Records; it included the single "Teen Angst ", which went to #1 on the U.S. Modern Rock chart. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of N.W.A in 2016.

The Emerson String Quartet, also known as the Emerson Quartet, was an American string quartet initially formed as a student group at the Juilliard School in 1976. It was named for American poet and philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson and began touring professionally in 1976. The ensemble taught in residence at The Hartt School in the 1980s and is currently the quartet in residence at Stony Brook University. Both of the founding violinists studied with Oscar Shumsky at Juilliard, and the two alternated as first and second violinists for the group. The Emerson Quartet was one of the first such ensembles with the two violinists alternating chairs.

The Accüsed is an American crossover thrash band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1981. The band was a progenitor of the crossover style that bridged the gap between thrashcore and thrash metal, later influencing grindcore and some crust punk bands; as well as an influential band in the Seattle area alternative scene. The band calls their music "splattercore", and their zombie mascot, Martha Splatterhead, appears on most of their albums. Common themes involve social issues and Martha Splatterhead coming back from the dead to slaughter rapists and child molesters.

The album featured the singles "Posse on Broadway", "Square Dance Rap", "Iron Man" and "Rippn'". In 1990, the album received a platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The album peaked at No. 73 on the Billboard charts' Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and also featured the hit single "Insane", which made it to No. 17 on the Hot Rap Singles. The video for another single, "Black Power Nation", gained some airplay.
Trouble in the Hood is the second album released by rap group, Criminal Nation. It was released in 1992 for Nastymix Records and was produced by the group's producers, Eugenius and Mark Womack its lead rapper, MC Deff. Trouble in the Hood peaked at #75 on the Billboard charts' Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and featured the bass guitar work of Matt McClinton and also synthesizer and keyboard work of producer/musician M.A.S.. It would also be the group's last album for another eight years until 2000's Resurrection.
