Cristián Heyne (born January 13, 1973 in Santiago) is a Chilean composer and producer, and formally a journalist. [1] Initially, he was the leader of alternative rock band Christianes, and later of the experimental unit Shogún. [1] [2] Then he started to focus on making music for other artists, and made several hits in the Chilean pop scene. He is also the owner of two Chileans indie labels: Luna, founded in 1998 and Unión del Sur, founded with Javiera Mena in 2010.

Corazones is the fourth studio album of the band chilena Los Prisioneros, released in 1990. Produced by the Argentine Gustavo Santaolalla, in conjunction with Anibal Kerpel for EMI Odeón Chilena, it was recorded, mixed and mastered in Los Angeles, California. Overseas, the album was distributed by the Capitol label, and it was the first album by Los Prisioneros recorded outside of Chile. The title of the album comes from the fourth track "Corazones rojos".

It is a tribute album to Mexican singer José José, Castro's musical idol. The album was produced by Rafael Pérez-Botija who also produced for José José. Viva el Príncipe covers twelve songs by José José and includes a poem recited by Castro's idol. Recording took place on August 2010 at The Hit Factory Criteria in Miami, Florida.

She started her musical career in the Chilean indie music scene in 2001, and achieved wider success after the release of her first studio album in 2006. Her musical style tends to be synthesized electronic sound, although prior to her official debut she made acoustic-oriented songs accompanied solely by guitar.
Mena is the second studio album by Chilean recording artist Javiera Mena. It was officially released worldwide on September 1, 2010 via iTunes, and on September 15, 2010 physically through indie label Unión del Sur, as a follow up to her successful debut, Esquemas Juveniles (2006). Javiera wrote and all the songs, as well as being the co-producer of every track in the album along with Cristián Heyne. Production first took place in early 2008 and recording sessions at Heyne's personal studio. A couple of months before the album's release, its first single "Hasta la Verdad" was sent to radio stations.
