The African Volleyball Confederation is the continental governing body for the sports of volleyball in Africa. Its headquarters are located in Rabat, Morocco.
The Croatian Volleyball Federation is the governing body of volleyball in Croatia. It is based in Zagreb.
Sport in Croatia has significant role in Croatian culture, and many local sports clubs as well as the Croatian national squads enjoy strong followings in the country. The most enduring sport by far in Croatia is football, and is played on amateur and professional levels amongst all age groups across the entire country. The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup was the third edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup, an annual women's international volleyball tournament contested by 8 national teams that acts as a qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. The tournament was held at Krešimir Ćosić Hall in Zadar, Croatia between 28 to 31 July 2022.
The 2023 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U19 World Championship will be the 18th edition of the FIVB Volleyball Girls' U19 World Championship, the biennial international youth volleyball championship contested by the women's national teams under the age of 19 of the members associations of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. It will be held in Croatia and Hungary from 1 to 11 August 2023.
