Crunchy Frog is a Danish independent record label, established in 1994 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The label is owned by the four members of Thau. The daily operations are handled by Jesper "Yebo" Reginal Petersen, drummer of Thau (later: Tothe International,[ citation needed ]) The Tremolo Beer Gut, Psyched Up Janis, Trains and Boats and Planes, Heavy Trash and Junior Senior. The label also owns and operates Vibrashop, an online mail order record store.

The name of the record company is taken from a Monty Python sketch about a pair of policemen who question the head of a confectioners about his new product, "The Whizzo Quality Assortment," which includes "Crunchy Frog."

D-D-Don't Don't Stop the Beat is the first studio album by Danish pop duo Junior Senior. Originally released in March 2002 in Denmark, an altered edition became available later in the year for the rest of continental Europe, and in 2003, the album was released in both the UK and US. It is most widely known for the song "Move Your Feet", the duo's first and most successful single. The United States release of the album received the Parental Advisory rating on its release.

Danish rock is rock music played in Denmark. Starting in the 1950s, rock music was inspired by the United States of America, where it was becoming extremely popular, although records could be difficult to obtain in the country. Danish jazz artists began adopting the rock genre. Towards the end of the 1950s and throughout the 1960s, Danish rock was heavily influenced by British music, one of the genres being R&B. By the late 1960s, Danish rock was again influenced by American rock. During the 1980s, the Danish rock consisted mainly of pop-rock bands, until the rock subgenre grunge broke through to the mainstream in the 1990s. In the late 1990s and early 21st century Indie rock was very popular.

The Naked was a Danish indie-rock band that existed from the end of the 1980s and disbanded in 1999. The band started out under the name Naked Lunch, later shortening the name to Naked, and finally to The Naked.

Apparat Organ Quartet was founded in 1999 in Reykjavík, Iceland. It is a band that originally included the musicians Hörður Bragason, Músikvatur, Úlfur Eldjárn and Jóhann Jóhannsson. They were soon joined by drummer Þorvaldur Gröndal, replaced in 2001 by Arnar Geir Ómarsson, drummer of the Icelandic rock band HAM. Lacking the time to dedicate himself to the group because of his solo projects, Jóhann Jóhannsson left the band in 2012; he died in February 2018.

18th Dye was a Berlin-based German/Danish noise rock band formed in 1992 by Sebastian Büttrich, Heike Rädeker and Piet Breinholm-Bendtsen (drums). They broke up in 1999 after two albums and an EP, but reformed in 2005. A third album, Amorine Queen, was released in 2008 but they split up again in 2009.

Pe'ahi is the seventh studio album by Danish indie rock duo The Raveonettes, and was released on 22 July 2014. Due to the purposeful lack of promotion or formal announcement of a release date, the album was dubbed a "surprise" release by the band. Pe'ahi received favorable reviews from music critics. The album debuted at number four in their native Denmark, and charted at number 161 on the Billboard 200 in the United States.
