The Cruzados were a 1980s rock band from Los Angeles, California.
The Cruzados were formed in 1983 by the members of The Plugz, featuring members Tito Larriva, Tony Marsico, Steven Hufsteter, Chalo Quintana,
The band's self-titled album on Arista Records, Cruzados , was released in 1985 as well as their second album After Dark in 1987.
The Cruzados also performed the song "Don't Throw Stones" in the 1989 movie Road House . In 2021 the Cruzados released their third studio album “She’s Automatic”
Tito Larriva performs with his band Tito & Tarantula and are best known for their appearance in the film “From Dusk Till Dawn”. Steven Hufsteter performed with his band Shrine” as well as with Tito & Tarantula. Quintana played drums for Bob Dylan, Izzy Stradlin & the JuJu Hounds and Social Distortion. Quintana died in 2018. Marsico became bassist for Bob Dylan, Matthew Sweet, Neil Young, Roger Daltrey and Marianne Faithfull. Rohner became guitarist for the band T.S.O.L. but died in October 2005. In 2020, bassist Tony Marsico restarted the Cruzados and released a new album with members Ron Young, Loren Molinare, Mark Tremalgia and Rob Klonel.
Jenny Morris included a cover of the Cruzados song "Rising Sun" on her 1987 album, Body and Soul .

Andalucia is the fourth studio album by Los Angeles rock band Tito & Tarantula, released in 2002. The album marked several line-up changes in the band, which had previously consisted of lead singer/rhythm guitarist Tito Larriva, lead guitarist Peter Atanasoff, and drummer Johnny "Vatos" Hernandez. This album featured the debut of lead guitarist Steven Hufsteter – who had previously played with Larriva in the Cruzados, bassist Io Perry, and keyboardist Marcus Praed.

Adam David "Atom" Willard is an American drummer who has been a member of several notable musical acts. His career began in 1990 when he joined Rocket from the Crypt, with whom he remained until 2000. Subsequently, he joined the Special Goodness, the Offspring, and in 2005 became a founding member of Angels & Airwaves. In 2007 Willard departed from the Offspring to focus on his work with Angels & Airwaves, and in April 2009 he also joined Social Distortion, but left the following March. In June 2011, he joined the band Danko Jones and in October 2011 amicably left Angels & Airwaves. From 2013 to 2020, he was the drummer for Against Me! until their indefinite hiatus. Currently he is playing in the bands Worriers, Plosivs, Lektron, and Alkaline Trio.
The Quick were a mid-1970s power pop band based in Los Angeles. The Quick were influenced by 1960s British Invasion bands and 1970s British glam bands, as well as by fellow Angelenos Sparks.
Jay Ziskrout was the first drummer for Bad Religion, forming the group with schoolmate Brett Gurewitz in 1980. Ziskrout performed on Bad Religion's self-titled EP and half on their debut album How Could Hell Be Any Worse?. He decided to leave the band with only half of the songs recorded due to the other band members not listening to him. Bad Religion replaced him with his drum roadie, Pete Finestone.

The Plugz melded the spirit of punk and Latino music.

Musician Tito Larriva has a small role in the film, and his band, Tito & Tarantula, contributed to the soundtrack as well.
Tony Marsico is an American bassist/composer best known as co-founder of the rock and roll band the Cruzados formed in 1983. . Marsico has also recorded and toured with Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Marianne Faithfull, Roger Daltrey, Joe Ely, Willie Nelson, Linda Ronstadt, Dr. John, Susanna Hoffs, The Thorns, The DiVinyls, John Doe, Peter Case, Juliana Hatfield, Paul Jones, Rick Vito, Barry Goldberg, among others. Marsico has co-written songs that appear in the motion picture Desperados. In addition, Marsico was the bassist for indie pop singer Matthew Sweet for over 10 years. Marsico recorded the soundtrack to the Oscar winning film Session Man.
The Havalinas are an American gypsy-folk-rock band from California, formed in 1989 in Los Angeles by Tim Scott McConnell and Stephen Dennis Smith - former bandmates in Levi and the Rockats, a punk-styled rockabilly group. and Charlie "Chalo" Quintana on drums and percussion. Tim Scott played guitar and sang vocals as well as Harmonica, Mandolin, Bouzouki, Fiddle, Banjo, Keyboards, and Ukulele. While this album was critically applauded, it never gained traction on radio perhaps due to its stripped down sound.
Repo Man is the soundtrack album to the eponymous 1984 film, Repo Man. The soundtrack features songs by punk rock acts such as the Plugz, Black Flag, the Circle Jerks, Suicidal Tendencies, Iggy Pop and others. The film score was created by Tito Larriva, Steven Hufsteter, Charlie Quintana and Tony Marsico of the Plugz. Iggy Pop volunteered to write the title song after his manager viewed a screening of the film.
