Jessica Calvello is an American voice actress and production assistant primarily known for her anime voiceover work and also known for her non-anime voice work on a number of animated shorts. Some of her more well known roles are Excel in Excel Saga, Nanael in Queen's Blade, Kanako Miyamae in Maria Holic, Zoe Hange in Attack on Titan and Honey Kisaragi in New Cutey Honey, in which she was personally cast by the creator of the Cutey Honey franchise, Go Nagai, a role that Calvello describes as her most cherished and honored accomplishment.

Cutie Honey: The Live is a Japanese tokusatsu production of the popular manga and anime series, Cutie Honey by Go Nagai. It was directed by Makoto Yokoyama and mostly written by Toshiki Inoue. It first aired on TV Tokyo on October 2, 2007. The title character, Honey Kisaragi, is portrayed by gravure idol Mikie Hara. [1] Discotek Media published the show on Blu-ray in 2021.[2]

<i>New Cutie Honey</i> 1994 original video animation anime series

New Cutie Honey is a 1994, Japanese anime series in the Cutie Honey media franchise created by Go Nagai. Inspired by continued popularity of the original 1973 Cutie Honey television series, and first announced by Toei Video in October 1993, it was the only Cutie Honey anime production to be licensed for distribution in the United States until Discotek Media released the 1973 series on DVD in November 2013. Unlike the original, it was developed as an OVA, a type of anime made for home video. The OVAs were released by ADV Films in the US, and have also been sold in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand.

<i>MM!</i> Japanese light novel series

MM! is a Japanese light novel series by Akinari Matsuno, with illustrations provided by the group QP:flapper made up of Tometa Ohara and Koharu Sakura. Media Factory published 12 novels under their MF Bunko J imprint between February 2007 and September 2010, including two side story volumes. The series was left unfinished due to the author's death on April 18, 2011. A manga adaptation by Issei Hyoju was serialized between the September 2008 and February 2012 issues of Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive. A drama CD adaption was released by Edge Records on March 24, 2010 and its first-press limited edition came with a bonus CD. A 12-episode anime adaptation produced by Xebec aired between October and December 2010. Sentai Filmworks released the anime series on English-subtitled DVD in North America in September 2011, and then re-released it in February 2014 with an English dub on both DVD and Blu-ray.

<i>Cutie Honey Flash</i> Japanese anime television series

Cutie Honey Flash is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation, part of the Go Nagai's Cutie Honey franchise. Airing in Japan, the series assumed the timeslot of Sailor Stars, the final story arc of the long-running Sailor Moon anime. Employing many of the same animation staff of Sailor Stars, including animation director Miho Shimogasa, Flash features very similar character designs and fits the more traditional mold of magical girl series, aimed at the Sailor Moon demographic.

Re: Cutie Honey is a three-episode OVA series based on the 2004 tokusatsu (live-action) film Cutie Honey, both being adaptations of the 1970s manga written and illustrated by Go Nagai. The series was co-produced with Gainax and Toei Animation, directed by Hideaki Anno, and shown on the Animax satellite television network in 2004. The first episode aired on July 24, two months after the live-action film was released. DVD releases for each episode followed, with the first released on September 21. The series tells the same story as the film, but contains nudity and additional character development. On 2003, Anno also collaborated Ito together on manga titles Cutie Honey a Go Go!.

Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!, also known as Chū-2 for short, is a Japanese light novel series written by Torako, with illustrations provided by Nozomi Ōsaka. The work won an honorable mention in the Kyoto Animation Award competition in 2010, leading the company to assume its publication starting in June 2011. The series follows a high school boy named Yūta Togashi, who tries to discard his embarrassing past grandiose delusions, until he meets a girl named Rikka Takanashi, who exhibits her own signs of Eighth Grader Syndrome. As their relationship progresses, Yūta and Rikka form a club called the Far East Magical Napping Society Summer Thereof with classmates Shinka Nibutani, Kumin Tsuyuri, and Sanae Dekomori, who each have their own unique delusional behaviors.

Margaret Allison "Meg" McDonald is an American voice actress known for her works at Sentai Studios and Crunchyroll/Funimation. When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace aka InoBato is a Japanese light novel series written by Kōta Nozomi with illustrations by 029. SB Creative has published it in thirteen volumes from 2012 to 2018 under their GA Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Kōsuke Kurose was serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace from September 2013 to February 2015 and compiled in four volumes. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by Trigger aired between October and December 2014.

<i>Cutie Honey</i> Japanese manga series by Go Nagai

Cutie Honey is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai. First appearing in Weekly Shōnen Champion's 41st issue of 1973, the series ran until April 1974. It follows an android girl named Honey Kisaragi, who transforms into the busty, red or pink-haired heroine Cutie Honey to fight against the assorted villains that threaten her or her world. One of the trademarks of the character is that the transformation involves the temporary loss of all her clothing in the brief interim from changing from one form to the other. According to Nagai, she is the first female to be the protagonist of a shōnen manga series.
