Her self-titled debut album, Jennifer Hanson, was released that same year on Capitol Records to critical acclaim, and in 2003 Hanson was nominated for the Top New Female Vocalist award from the Academy of Country Music. She received a nomination that same year for CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year for her video “Beautiful Goodbye”, directed by Trey Fanjoy.

"Quiero" is a latin pop song by Guatemalan recording artist Ricardo Arjona. It was released as the second single from his compilation album Quién Dijo Ayer (2007). Written by Arjona, the song was produced by Dan Warner, Lee Levin and Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Tommy Torres, who also worked with Arjona on Adentro. "Quiero" was recorded between several studios in Miami and Mexico City, and mixed and mastered in New York City. Released on August 11, 1992 by Jive Records, The lead single "She's Playing Hard to Get" peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the R&B singles chart. It is the second studio album featuring the teen frontman lead singer Tony Thompson who propelled this album into platinum status. It also features the first appearance of Bronx, New York native, Treston Irby.
