Cypheus Bunton (born February 11, 1972) is an American former professional basketball player and former assistant basketball coach at the University of South Carolina. [1] He is currently an assistant basketball coach at Spring Valley High School in Columbia, South Carolina. [1] He was born February 11, 1972, in Louisville, Kentucky. [2]
A 6'7" forward, Bunton played high school basketball for Valley High School in Louisville, Kentucky, and he earned All-State and All-Conference accolades in his senior year. [3]
Bunton played two years at Sullivan Junior College in Louisville. He averaged 10.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game as a freshman, contributing to a 24–8 overall record. As a sophomore, he averaged 12.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 3.0 blocked shots per game, leading the team to a 31–6 overall record. [2] He helped the Executives to back-to-back Kentucky Junior College Athletic Conference championships. [3]
Bunton played his last two years of college at Western Kentucky University and was a teammate of Darnell Mee. [4] As a junior, Bunton averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.0 blocked shots in only 21.5 minutes per game. [2] As a he senior, averaged 10.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.7 blocked shots. He also led the team in rebounding and ranked third in scoring his senior year. [2]
Bunton played for Fossan Alku, in Finland for the 1995–96 season. [5] His regular season average in blocks (3,86) is still # 1. [6]
Bunton played for M7 Basket in Sweden from 1996 to 1998, averaging 15.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game in the 1997–98 season. He then played for Sundsvall in Sweden for the 1998–99 season, averaging 15.8 points and 8.1 rebounds. [2]
Bunton played the 1999–00 season with the Derby Storm in England. In 35 games he averaged 15.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.6 steals and he led the league with 3.4 blocks per game. [7]

Tayshaun Durell Prince is an American professional basketball executive and former player. The 6-foot-9-inch (2.06 m) small forward graduated from Dominguez High School before playing college basketball for the University of Kentucky. He was drafted 23rd overall by the Detroit Pistons in the 2002 NBA draft and went on to win a championship with the team in 2004.

Previously, he was the head coach at the University of Louisville. Prior to being hired at Louisville, Payne spent two seasons as an assistant coach with the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m) and 195 lb (88 kg) small forward, Payne played college basketball at Louisville and was a member of the 1986 NCAA championship squad. He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 19th pick of the 1989 NBA draft.

LaFarrell Darnell Mee is an American former professional basketball player who played 12 seasons in the National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball for Western Kentucky before being selected by the Golden State Warriors with the 34th overall pick in the 1993 NBA draft. He played 40 games in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets. In his 12 seasons in Australia, Mee was named the NBL Best Defensive Player five times and won two NBL championships. He became an Australian citizen in 2006.
James Dixon Mays is an American-born naturalized Central African former professional basketball player currently working as an assistant coach for the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League. He represented the Central African Republic at the 2011 FIBA Africa Championship.

Wingate began playing high school basketball at Wilson High School where he averaged 15 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 blocks as a junior. For his senior year, he moved to North Gwinnett where he was ranked among the top 50 players in the class of 2003 and 10th-best center prospect in the nation.
