Cyril J. O'Reilly is an American film and television actor, writer and producer.
O'Reilly was born in Los Angeles, California, one of three children born to Patrick Joseph O'Reilly, a Deputy Director of the Peace Corps, and his wife, Harriet ( née Rothwell). [1] [2] He has worked in Hollywood for nearly three decades, and is known for playing a reluctant vampire in Dance of the Damned , and for his role as Tim Cavanaugh in the teen sex comedies Porky's and Porky's II: The Next Day .
He co-starred in the 1981 television movie Splendor in the Grass with Melissa Gilbert. In 2007, twenty-six years later, the two re-united in the television movie Sacrifices of the Heart. His other film work has included roles in Airplane! , The Cool Surface , and Navy SEALs . He has appeared in a variety of television programs, including M*A*S*H , ER , Star Trek: Deep Space Nine , The X-Files , Beverly Hills, 90210 , St. Elsewhere , Hunter , and Murder, She Wrote .

Cyril Joseph Trimnell-Ritchard, known professionally as Cyril Ritchard, was an Australian stage, screen and television actor, and director. He is best remembered today for his performance as Captain Hook in the Mary Martin musical production of Peter Pan. In 1945, he played Gabriele Eisenstein in Gay Rosalinda at the Palace theatre in London, a version of Strauss's Die Fledermaus by Erich Wolfgang Korngold in which he appeared with Peter Graves. The show was conducted by Richard Tauber and ran for almost a year.
