DD Port is a station on Line 3 of the Dalian Metro in Liaoning Province, China. [1] [2] It is located in the Jinzhou District of Dalian City. The station is named after an industrial park based on Digital and DNA technology. [3]

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Trams in Dalian</span>

Trams in Dalian have been operating continuously since 1909 making them one of the oldest tram systems still in use in Mainland China. There were once eleven routes in operation in Dalian in the Northeast China. Only two routes remain in use today. There was a route 203 which currently merged into route 201. Notably, most of the staff on Dalian's tram system are female, i.e. – driver, conductor, points man — even the depot manager. The tram system was the only rail network in the city, until Dalian Metro opened in 2003.

The Line 1 of Wuhan Metro is an elevated metro line in the city of Wuhan, Hubei. It is the longest continuous metro viaduct in the world. Line 1 opened on 28 July 2004, making Wuhan the fifth city in mainland China to have a metro system after Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Guangzhou. This is the first Metro line in China incorrectly referred to as a light rail line in Chinese terminology because it is elevated. Originally a branch line was planned to cross the Yangtze to Wuchang District via the Second Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. The Second Wuhan River Bridge even had a provision in the central median where Line 1 trains would run in anticipation for the branch line when it opened in 1995. However, by 2003 the reservation was removed to allow for more traffic lanes when the bridge was undergoing renovation.

Line 12 of the Dalian Metro is a rapid transit line running in northern Dalian. It opened on 1 May 2014.

Dalian Rail Transit, according to the order of construction, includes the Dalian trams, the Dalianren light rail and the Dalian Rapid Transit. The Dalian Rapid Transit system is divided into the Kuaigui and Ditie. The Kuaigui is the overground system mainly running in the suburban area, while the Ditie is the underground system operating in the urban area. Announcements of the DRT are made in Mandarin and English. As of November 1, 2015, DRT has about 170 kilometers of track.

Dalian is a major city and seaport in the south of Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China. It is the southernmost city of Northeast China and China's northernmost warm water port, at the tip of the Liaodong Peninsula. The MRTC 3100 class or CRRC Dalian 8MLB LRV, commonly called as the Dalian Train, is the class of second-generation uni-directional light rail vehicles built in China by CNR Dalian, now CRRC Dalian. Since its delivery, most of the trains are still being tested and undergoing final assessments, before being used on regular services on Line 3 of the Manila Metro Rail Transit System.
