Chetas Shah, known professionally as DJ Chetas, is an Indian disc jockey and music producer. [1] [2] [3] He is primarily known for his Bollywood Mashups and remixes. [4] DJ Chetas ranked World No. 33 on the DJ MAG Top 100 DJs list. [5]

Biography

Shah belongs to Mumbai, Maharashtra. [6] In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, He told “As a class 10 student, after witnessing a friend’s older brother mix two tracks together on his computer, Chetas was lured into creating his first few remixes”. [7] He started his career with creating Bollywood mash-ups and remixes. He is the first Indian to be featured in a DJ Mag's Top 100 ranked him 59 in 2015 and ranked 33 in 2016. [8] [9] His debut album was titled Life is a Mashup. after this he released various mashups and remixes like Iqraar By Chance, Atif Mashups, Jab Koi Baat (recreated), Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai (remix), Backbone (remix), MTV Beats House Party Dance Mix, among others. [10] [11] He also composed music for various films like Dilwale, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, All is Well, Indian Police Force, Golmaal Again. [12] [13] [14] He also contributed as an official DJ for Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. [6]

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, also known by the initialism DDLJ, is a 1995 Indian Hindi-language musical romance film written and directed by Aditya Chopra in his directorial debut and produced by his father Yash Chopra. Released on 20 October 1995, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol as Raj and Simran, two young non-resident Indians, who fall in love during a vacation through Europe with their friends. Raja Hindustani is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Dharmesh Darshan. It tells the story of a cab driver from a small town who falls in love with a rich young woman. Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor play the lead roles. Released on 15 November 1996, the film's plot was inspired from the 1965 film Jab Jab Phool Khile, starring Shashi Kapoor and Nanda. The film's music was composed by Nadeem-Shravan, with lyrics by Sameer. It went on to win five Filmfare Awards, including the awards for Best Film, Best Actors, Best Music and seven Screen Awards.

DJ Khushi is a disc jockey in India and has been awarded the Most Popular Bollywood DJ award. Because of his frequent appearances, Khushi is also known as the official DJ of Shahrukh Khan. He was the opening DJ during Tiesto's Delhi Gig. In 2016, he headlined the Sunburn Music Festival with Hardwell, the world's No.1 DJ. In Dec'16, Ellie Goulding and Nervo performed alongside DJ Khushi. Khushi has also performed with LMFAO, Edward Maya and Akcent.

<i>Mitron</i> 2018 Hindi romantic comedy film

Mitron is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Nitin Kakkar, written by Sharib Hashmi, and produced by Vikram Malhotra under the Abundantia Entertainment banner. An official remake of the 2016 Telugu film Pelli Choopulu, it stars Jackky Bhagnani with Kritika Kamra, Pratik Gandhi, and Shivam Parekh in their film debuts. "Sochta Hoon" is a ghazal-qawwali written and performed by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, originally in UK 1985 Tour on 28 February at Allah Ditta Centre Birmingham. It had been popularized by him and his nephew Rahat Fateh Ali Khan several times in different concerts.

<i>Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge</i> (soundtrack) 1995 soundtrack album by Jatin–Lalit

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is the soundtrack to the 1995 film of the same name directed by Aditya Chopra for Yash Raj Films, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. It was released by the HMV label in July 1995. The soundtrack, which was developed for four months, features seven songs composed by Jatin–Lalit and lyrics written by Anand Bakshi. The soundtrack set records in sales, thereby the best-selling Hindi film soundtrack of the year and has been considered as one of the best Bollywood music albums of all time. The album won two Filmfare Awards, out of five nominations.
