Taylor Madrigal, known professionally as DJ Tiiiiiiiiiip, is a Minneapolis, Minnesota based DJ and promoter. [1]
Madrigal grew up in Minneapolis. His stage name is an alteration of his childhood nickname, Tip. [2] In 2009, he became a founding member of rap collective Audio Perm. He produced beats for the group. [3] [4] Madrigal originally went by the name "Depo Shot". [5] He later formed half of the duo Biter Fighters with Unfuh Qwittable of Audio Perm. [6]
Madrigal began DJing in 2010. He joined Thestand4rd on tour in 2014. [7] He became the official DJ of the group and served as one of their producers. [8] [9] He has since collaborated with artists such as Bobby Raps, Allan Kingdom, Spooky Black, Aaron Carter, [10] and Yung Gravy. [11] Madrigal and Bobby Raps perform together as duo Dequexatron X000. [8]
In 2016, Madrigal contributed to Watch the Stove , a viral mixtape campaign by Hamburger Helper. [12] He featured on "Feed the Streets", the opening track of the album. [13]
Madrigal tours as the DJ for Yung Gravy. [14] He has been outspoken about preventing sexual harassment during his sets. [15]
Stanley Bernard Benton, better known by his stage name Stat Quo, is an American rapper and record producer. Benton worked his way to college and attended University of Florida, where he majored in economics and international business in 2000. He was contemplating law school, until veteran Southern rapper Scarface encouraged him to rap professionally. In February 2003, Stat Quo released his first installment of the Underground Atlanta Mixtapes and caught the attention of Aftermath Entertainment associate Mel-Man. When Stat Quo was in L.A. performing at Encore, Mel-Man invited him to Record One Studios where he met Dr. Dre. That night at Record One, Stat Quo recorded the song "The Future" with Dr. Dre and released it on the second volume of his Underground Atlanta mixtape in 2004. The tape made its way by a different route to Eminem and led to Stat Quo's record deal with Shady Records and Aftermath Entertainment. Stat Quo is currently managing Young Aspect, and formerly managed Lil Xan.
Grand Hustle Records, also known as Hustle Gang Music, is an American hip hop record label, founded in 2003, by American rapper and record executive T.I. and his manager Jason Geter. The label was distributed by Atlantic Records until December 2012, and has since operated as an independent record label. Tyree Cinque Simmons, known professionally as DJ Drama, is an American disc jockey (DJ), record executive and music promoter. He initially gained recognition as the DJ for Atlanta-based rapper T.I., and continued to gain prominence hosting mixtapes for other hip hop artists. His trademark Gangsta Grillz series is present on releases of which he has compiled; it has been popularized by artists including Lil Wayne, Tyler the Creator, Snoop Dogg, Yo Gotti, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Fabolous, Jeezy, Meek Mill, and Gucci Mane, among others. With over 10 recordings to his credit, Yung Simmie has toured several parts of Europe and the United States independently and as a member of Raider Klan.
