DMA's is the debut extended play by Australian indie rock band, DMA's released on 28 March 2014. At the AIR Awards of 2014, the EP was nominated for Best Independent Single/EP. [4] The EP was released in North America on 18 May 2015 via Mom + Pop Music. [5]
On 17 February 2014, I OH YOU announced they had signed DMA's and would release their self-titled debut EP on 28 March 2014, based solely on demo's received. [6] The debut single "Delete" was released the same day. [7]
In an interview with Hannah Galvin from Purple Sneakers in March 2014, Matthew Mason said "Some of the songs on it we've had for years. So yeah, some of the songs are like five years old. Half of it was written in the last year... recording took like two weeks, or maybe even one week actually... [and] it was done at Johnny [Took] and Tommy [O’Dell]'s house." [2]
The EPs artwork was painted by Sydney artist Total Bore. [2]
Musicologist Paul McBride called the EP a "promising start" saying "This five-track debut EP is so steeped in '90s indie-rock and garage-pop flavours that you expect it to let out an extended Liam Gallagher-esque vocal sneer at any second, but thankfully it never comes. Instead, this is a collection of tunes moulded by a combination of Britpop melodies, rough edges and plenty of heart, carried off by a bunch of scallywags you wouldn't trust to borrow your car and bring it back in one piece, if at all. The high point is closer 'Delete'; the most delicate and almost ballad-like track, which will appeal much more to fans of Noel Gallagher than it will to those of his more abrasive younger sibling." Augustus Welby from Beat Magazine said "The EPs focal melodic aplomb, homespun production grit and well-measured array of guitar sounds warrant plenty of curiosity, however, that unique quality – the element of risk – is lacking at this stage." [9]
Michael Nelson from Stereo Gum said "These are bright, driving, lightly psychedelic, heavily melodic guitar-based pop songs that will hook you on the first listen and only pull you in further from there." [5]

His work is heavily influenced by Jonathan Richman and Belle & Sebastian, and he has been likened to Stephin Merritt, David Byrne, and Scott Walker.

Metro Station was an American pop rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California by singer Mason Musso and bassist/guitarist Trace Cyrus. In late 2006, the band signed a recording contract with Columbia Records and RED Ink Records. The band is best known for the commercially successful hit single "Shake It" from the group's self-titled debut album. In 2010, tension between Cyrus and Musso caused the band to go on hiatus. In 2011, the band returned, however, it was announced that Cyrus was no longer a part of the group and Musso had purchased the rights to the name.
Angelas Dish is an Australian indie pop band from the Central Coast of New South Wales, formed in 2003. The four-piece currently consists of songwriting duo, brothers Michael and Joshua Harris, teamed up with bassist Peter Clarke, and drummer Christopher Allison. Michael Harris is the lead singer and most experienced musician of the group. There has been ongoing tension between the brothers, as Joshua has often lived in the shadow of his older sibling, as a result, Joshua Harris has made several solo albums.
Kamtin Mohager is an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and graphic designer born in San Jose, California. Raised in Hawaii, and later Colorado, Mohager began pursuing punk rock music in his teenage years. Later inspired by shoegaze and alternative rock bands from the 1990s, he formed the indie electronic project The Chain Gang of 1974. He has released five studio albums, White Guts (2010), Wayward Fire (2011), Daydream Forever (2014), Felt (2017), and Honey Moon Drips (2020). His 2014 single "Sleepwalking" gained popularity for featuring on the video game Grand Theft Auto V (2013) and its accompanying soundtrack.

Sex is the second extended play (EP) by English band the 1975. It was released on 19 November 2012 by Dirty Hit. DMA's are an Australian rock band formed in 2012 in Sydney, New South Wales. The band is composed of lead vocalist Tommy O'Dell, lead guitarist Matt Mason, and rhythm guitarist Johnny Took. The band have since gone on to release four studio albums: Hills End (2016), For Now (2018), The Glow (2020) and How Many Dreams? (2023).
