DWCL (92.7 FM), was a radio station owned by UBC Media (Love Radio Network). The station's studio and transmitter were located at the UBC Bldg., McArthur Highway, Brgy. Sindalan, San Fernando, Pampanga. [1] [2]

History

DWCL started operations in 1987 as Power 92.7, airing Christian Music until 2015. Under UBC's direct ownership, the radio station gained a sister television outlet which lasted until 2009 when UBC 12 went off-air due to financial losses and intense competition with CLTV 36. Power 92.7 also served as the flagship for UBC's religious program, "One God, One Nation"

Brigada Mass Media Corporation took over the station's operations in May of 2015, initially serving as a full-power relay of its Luzon flagship station. On September 14, 2015, 92.7 Brigada News FM Pampanga-Central Luzon launched its own local programming, featuring the top Central Luzon broadcasters, reporters and DJ's, such as John Susi, Max Sangil and veteran Alvin Masangkay (John Ericsson), who defected from D'Ultimate 105.5 FM shortly before it reformatted to CHR/Top 40. [3] By 2016, DWCL became one of five "network-feeder" stations along Brigada News FM as it syndicated Brigada Lovelines with John Ericsson to Luzon and Cotabato City.

As part of the airtime lease agreement inked by BMMC, UBC retained an hour of its own programming, continuing to air "One God, One Nation" on Sunday evenings, syndicated to Brigada News FM stations in Luzon.

On July 2023, DWCL was downgraded to a relay of 105.1 Brigada News FM based in Manila due to the impending expiry of its airtime lease with UBC and struggling sales of BMMC's health products in Pampanga. In the immediate aftermath, most of its on-air staff transferred to Newsline 103.1 FM.

On September 8, 2025, 92.7 went off the air as Brigada News FM transferred to 105.1 MHz to form a single-frequency array of repeaters covering Metro Manila, Central Luzon and Baguio City.

In October 2025, 92.7 began test broadcast under Oriental Mindoro-based Rabino Broadcasting and Advertising until December 1 when the station unveiled the 92.7 ORFM brand. However, operations of the station were downgraded and ultimately aborted the very next day due to issues surrounding UBC Media's legislative broadcast franchise that is set to expire by January 2026
