CyberConnect2 Co., Ltd. is a Japanese video game development studio mostly known for its work on the .hack series, along with a series of fighting games based on the Naruto franchise. They are also known for creating the Little Tail Bronx series. In 2016, they expanded their workforce into the international market by opening a studio in Montreal, Canada; however, the studio ceased operations in July 2023 after seven years of service.

Zombie Land Saga is an anime television series produced by MAPPA, Avex Pictures and Cygames. The series aired in Japan between October and December 2018. A second season titled Zombie Land Saga Revenge aired between April and June 2021. An anime film project has been announced. A manga adaptation that loosely follows the events of the anime, ran on Cygames' Cycomi website from October 2018 to June 2021; a spinoff series which focused on Tae's exploits during her previous life, titled Zombie Land Saga Sidestory: The First Zombie, ran in Ultra Jump magazine from May 2021 to November 2022.

It is directed by Hiroshi Ikehata, with Masao Kawase serving as assistant director, Daishiro Tanimura writing the scripts, Yuki Sawa designing the characters, and Gin Hashiba composing the music. The series aired from April 8 to June 24, 2023, on the Animeism programming block on MBS, TBS and BS-TBS. The opening theme song is "Magical Destroyer" by Aimi, while the ending theme song is "Gospelion in a classic love" by The 13th tailor. Crunchyroll licensed the series.
