Daan Janzing (born 17 November 1981) is a Dutch guitarist and producer. [1] He is one of the guitar players for the dark rock band My Favorite Scar.

Biography

Janzing was born in the Netherlands and started playing the guitar at the age of nine.[ citation needed ] He was invited by Ivar de Graaf of Within Temptation to play with Kingfisher Sky. [1] Together they recorded that band's first album Hallway (2007). In 2010, Janzing left the band for his new project, My Favorite Scar.

Janzing was invited to play with My Favorite Scar by Van Riet Jeroen and Evan Reed, who he knew from their previous band Feeler, who had performed as a supporting act for Janzing's group. My Favorite Scar's debut album was released in 2010 by Universal.[ citation needed ]
