Dai Yongjun (born 10 December 1984) is a Chinese retired rhythmic gymnast. [1]

Career

Yongjun took up rhythmic gymnastics in 1992 in Liaoning. [2] In 1996, she was selected into the Liaoning Provincial Rhythmic Gymnastics team. From 1999 to 2003 she won several medals at the Chinese National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. [3]

In 2003 she was selected for the World Championships in Budapest as a member of the national group, they finished in 7th place in the All-Around (getting a ticket for the following year's Olympics) and took 4th place in the 5 ribbons' final. [4]

In 2004 she represented China in the rhythmic gymnastics' group event at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens along Hu Mei, Li Jia, Lu Yingna, Lü Yuanyang and Zhang Shuo. They were 5th in qualification and 6th in the final. [5] [6]

She retired after the Games, choosing to work as a coach in Dalian. She also got married and had two daughters who also compete in rhythmic gymnastics. [7]

Jiang Yuyuan is a retired Chinese gymnast. She is the 2008 Chinese all-around senior National Champion and a member of the gold medal-winning People's Republic of China team for the 2008 Summer Olympics. Jiang was a member of the silver medal-winning Chinese team at the 2007 World Championships, the bronze medal-winning member at the 2010 World Championships and 2011 World Championships, and the all-around gold medalist at the 2007 Good Luck Beijing Olympic test event. In 2010, she replaced Cheng Fei as the captain of the Chinese national team. She won a silver medal in the all-around competition at the 2010 World Championships, which is the highest position that a Chinese woman has ever placed in the all-around competition at a world or Olympic championship.

Galina Tancheva is a retired Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. Tang Xijing is a Chinese artistic gymnast. She is the 2019 World all-around silver medalist, matching Jiang Yuyuan at the 2010 World Championships for the highest all-around finish for a Chinese woman in World or Olympic history. She is also the 2020 Olympic silver medalist on balance beam and the 2022 Chinese national all-around champion. At the junior level she is the 2018 Youth Olympic balance beam champion and uneven bars bronze medalist. She unofficially announced her retirement on March 20, 2024, on her alternate Weibo account.

Ou Yushan is a Chinese artistic gymnast. She is the 2021 Summer World University Games all-around champion, balance beam champion, floor exercise champion, and team champion as part of the Chinese women's team. Ou is also the 2019 Junior World all-around bronze medalist and team and floor exercise silver medalist. She represented China at the 2020 Summer Olympics and was selected to participate in the 2024 Summer Olympics, joining the exclusive list of Chinese women's artistic gymnasts who have competed in two Olympic Games.
