Daisy is the second studio album from the American rock band, Dog's Eye View. The follow-up to the band's 1995 debut album, Happy Nowhere , Daisy was released on August 19, 1997. [2]
Dog's Eye View's singer and songwriter, Peter Stuart, publicly stated that work for Daisy was more difficult for him than for 1995's Happy Nowhere. [3] In 2000, Stuart told MTV News, "The band worked for the first record, but on the second record [Daisy], it just felt like I was carrying this albatross." He also criticized their record label, Columbia Records, for a lack of support with Dog's Eye View's sophomore effort. [3]
Stuart announced a break from Dog's Eye View after Daisy's release to pursue a solo album. [3] Dog's Eye View did not reunite again until production began for their third album, Tomorrow Always Comes , released in 2006.

Gavin McGregor Rossdale is a British musician, best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Bush. He helped form Bush in 1992; on the band's separation in 2002, he became the lead singer and guitarist for Institute and later began a solo career. He resumed his role in Bush when the band reunited in 2010. In 2013, he received the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement.
William John Paul Gallagher is an English singer and songwriter who achieved fame as the lead vocalist of the rock band Oasis from 1991 to 2009. He later fronted the rock band Beady Eye from 2009 to 2014, before starting a successful solo career in 2017. Oasis had various line-up changes; Gallagher and his elder brother Noel were the only constant members. Helmet is an American alternative metal band from New York City formed in 1989 by vocalist and lead guitarist Page Hamilton. Sugar Ray is an American rock band formed in Newport Beach, California, in 1986. Scott Richard Weiland was an American singer and songwriter. He was best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Stone Temple Pilots from 1989 to 2003 and again from 2008 to 2013, recording six albums with them, and as the lead vocalist of the rock supergroup Velvet Revolver from 2003 to 2008. He also released one album with rock supergroup Art of Anarchy in 2015, as well as four solo studio albums and several collaborations with other musicians throughout his career.
