Daisy is the second studio album from the American rock band, Dog's Eye View. The follow-up to the band's 1995 debut album, Happy Nowhere , Daisy was released on August 19, 1997. [2]
Dog's Eye View's singer and songwriter, Peter Stuart, publicly stated that work for Daisy was more difficult for him than for 1995's Happy Nowhere. [3] In 2000, Stuart told MTV News, "The band worked for the first record, but on the second record [Daisy], it just felt like I was carrying this albatross." He also criticized their record label, Columbia Records, for a lack of support with Dog's Eye View's sophomore effort. [3]
Stuart announced a break from Dog's Eye View after Daisy's release to pursue a solo album. [3] Dog's Eye View did not reunite again until production began for their third album, Tomorrow Always Comes , released in 2006.
Lisa Nicole Lopes, better known by her stage name Left Eye, was an American rapper and singer. She was a member of the R&B girl group TLC, alongside Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. Besides rapping and singing backing vocals on TLC recordings, Lopes was the creative force behind the group, receiving more co-writing credits than the other members. She also designed some of their outfits and the stage for 'Fan Mail Tour' and contributed to the group's image, album titles, artworks, and music videos. Through her work with TLC, Lopes won four Grammy Awards.
Gavin McGregor Rossdale is an English musician, best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Bush. He helped form Bush in 1992; on the band's separation in 2002, he became the lead singer and guitarist for Institute and later began a solo career. He resumed his role in Bush when the band reunited in 2010. In 2013, he received the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement.

Sublime was an American rock band from Long Beach, California, formed in 1988.
