Dalonte Hill (born January 19, 1979) is an American basketball coach. He is currently an assistant coach at Chicago State. He was previously an assistant coach at Stephen F. Austin. Prior to SFA, he was an assistant college basketball coach at The University of Maryland. He was hired to join head coach Mark Turgeon's staff in May 2011. [1] [2] [3]
Prior to his hiring at Maryland, Hill served as an assistant under Kansas State head coach Frank Martin. [4] In August 2010, Kansas State athletic director John Currie extended Hill's contract through 2015 and increased his salary to $423,750. His previous contract, worth $420,000 a year, had made him the highest paid assistant coach in college basketball. In addition, Hill was eligible for a bonus of $80,000 based on the success of his team. [5]
Hill, a Washington, D.C. native, coached the AAU team DC Assault for two years prior to being hired at Charlotte, where he was an assistant coach from 2003 to 2005.
Hill has had two run in's with the law, both times being arrested on suspicion of DUI. One of the arrests came while Hill was in Kansas and the other while he was at Maryland. [6]
On November 27, 2013, Hill resigned as assistant coach for the Terps, effective immediately. [7]
About 3 1/2 years after resigning from Maryland, Hill was hired as assistant coach at Austin Peay under new head coach Matt Figger in May 2017. [8]
Juan Dixon is an American former professional basketball player and the previous head coach for Coppin State University in Baltimore. Dixon led the University of Maryland Terrapins to their first NCAA championship in 2002 and earned Most Outstanding Player honors at the 2002 Final Four.
Mark Leo Turgeon is an American college basketball coach. Turgeon served as the head men's basketball coach at Jacksonville State University from 1998 to 2000, Wichita State University from 2000 to 2007, Texas A&M University from 2007 to 2011, and University of Maryland, College Park from 2011 to 2021.
Keith Eugene Booth is an American basketball coach and former National Basketball Association (NBA) player. Booth played college basketball at the University of Maryland from 1993 to 1997. He was an assistant coach at his alma mater under Gary Williams from 2004 to 2011. He was also an assistant coach for G. G. Smith with the Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team.
Richard Lee Stansbury, is an American college basketball coach who is currently an assistant coach at the University of Memphis. He was most recently the head coach at Western Kentucky from 2016 to 2023. He was also the head coach at Mississippi State from 1998 to 2012. He is a member of the Campbellsville University Athletics Hall of Fame.
The Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball team represents Texas A&M University in NCAA Division I college basketball. The Aggies compete in the Southeastern Conference. Since 1998, the teams has played its home games at Reed Arena, a 12,989-capacity arena in College Station, Texas on the campus of Texas A&M University. The Maryland Terrapins men's basketball team represents the University of Maryland in National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I competition. Maryland, a founding member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), left the ACC in 2014 to join the Big Ten Conference. Gary Williams, who coached the Terrapins from 1989 to 2011, led the program to its greatest success, including two consecutive Final Fours in 2001 and 2002, which culminated in the 2002 NCAA National Championship. Maryland has appeared in 30 NCAA tournaments and won their conference tournament 4 times. The Terrapins have competed in 100 seasons, accumulating an overall record of 1,641–1,086 as of the 2022–23 season. Maryland is currently coached by Kevin Willard.
Charlie Taaffe was an American gridiron football coach who was the head football coach at The Citadel from 1987 to 1996. He is the winningest head coach in the school's history. He was also the head coach of the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Dave Cottle is a retired American lacrosse coach. He was a consultant for Marquette University, when they added men's and women's varsity lacrosse on December 16, 2010. He was previously the head coach for the Maryland Terrapins men's lacrosse team at the University of Maryland from 2002 to 2010. Cottle also coached the Loyola College men's lacrosse team from 1983 to 2001.
Kevin Bruce Anderson is a former American college athletics administrator for California State University, Northridge and former athletic director for the Maryland Terrapins, the NCAA Division I sports program of the University of Maryland, College Park. On October 16, 2017, the University of Maryland placed Kevin Anderson on a six-month leave of absence, and he officially resigned on April 13, 2018.
Mark Douglas Hudspeth is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at Gulf Shores High School in Gulf Shores, Alabama, a position he has held since 2021. Hudspeth served as the head football coach at the University of North Alabama from 2002 to 2008, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 2011 to 2017, and Austin Peay State University in 2019.

The Governors, led by 27th-year head coach Dave Loos, played their home games at the Dunn Center in Clarksville, Tennessee and were members of the West Division of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). They finished the season 11–19, 7–9 in conference play, to finish in fourth place in the West Division. They failed to qualify for the Ohio Valley Conference tournament.

The 2021–22 Maryland Terrapins men's basketball team represented the University of Maryland, College Park in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by interim head coach Danny Manning. They played their home games at Xfinity Center in College Park, Maryland, as members of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 15–17, 7–13 in Big Ten play to finish in a three-way tie for 10th place. As the No. 10 seed in the Big Ten tournament, they lost to Michigan State in the second round.
