Damian Sperz (born 29 March 1990) [1] is a Polish speedway rider who is a member of the Polish under-21 national team.

Poland republic in Central Europe

Poland, officially the Republic of Poland, is a country located in Central Europe. Motorcycle speedway motorcycle sport

Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines which use only one gear and have no brakes; racing takes place on a flat oval track usually consisting of dirt, loosely packed shale, or crushed rock. Competitors use this surface to slide their machines sideways, powersliding or broadsiding into the bends. On the straight sections of the track the motorcycles reach speeds of up to 70 miles per hour (110 km/h).

Poland national under-21 speedway team

The Poland national under-21 speedway team is the national under-21 motorcycle speedway team of Poland and is controlled by the Polish Motor Union (PZM). The Under-21 Speedway World Cup has been dominated by Poland with them winning first place in all of the past championships. Karol Ząbik was a member of Poland team by three finals (2005-2007). Poland has produced seven Under-21 Individual World Champions: Piotr Protasiewicz (1996), Robert Dados (1998), Dawid Kujawa (2001), Jarosław Hampel (2003), Robert Miśkowiak (2004), Krzysztof Kasprzak (2005) and Karol Ząbik (2006).

World Championships

The Individual Speedway Junior World Championship is an annual speedway event held each year organized by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) since 1977. The current (2018) world champion is Bartosz Smektała from Poland.

2009 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship

The 2009 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship will be the 2009 version of FIM Individual Under-21 World Championship. The Final will take place on October 4, 2009 in Goričan, Croatia. It will be first Final on Balkans. The current World Champion is Emil Sayfutdinov from Russia who won the 2008 Final in Pardubice, Czech Republic. Sayfutdinov, who in 2009 season was started in 2009 Speedway Grand Prix, was not defend title. The Championship was won by Australian rider Darcy Ward.

The 2010 Individual Speedway Under 21 World Championship was the 2010 version of FIM Individual Under-21 World Championship season. First time new champion was determined in three finals between 17 July and 2 October 2010.

European Championships

The 2008 Individual Under-19 European Championship was the 2008 version of UEM Individual Speedway Junior European Championship. The Final took place on August 30, 2008 in Stralsund, Germany; it was second Final in Germany. Defending European Champion was Nicolai Klindt from Denmark who won in 2007 Final in Częstochowa, Poland.

2009 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship

The 2009 Individual Under-19 European Championship will be the 12th UEM Individual Speedway Junior European Championship season. The Final will be place on 11 July 2009 in Tarnów, Poland; it will be fourth Final in Poland, but first time in Tarnów. Defending European Champion is Artur Mroczka from Poland who won in 2008 Final in Stralsund, Germany.

The 2008 Individual Speedway Polish Championship is the 2008 version of Individual Speedway Polish Championship organized by the Polish Motor Union (PZM).

2009 Individual Speedway Polish Championship

The 2009 Individual Speedway Polish Championship was the 2009 version of Individual Speedway Polish Championship organized by the Polish Motor Union (PZM). The defending Champion esd Adam Skórnicki, who finished sixth. The Final took place on 25 July 2009 at MotoArena Toruń in Toruń. The Final was won by Tomasz Gollob, who beat Krzysztof Kasprzak and Janusz Kołodziej. It was eight title for Gollob.

The 2008 Individual Speedway Junior Polish Championship is the 2008 version of Individual Speedway Junior Polish Championship organized by the Polish Motor Union (PZM).
