Dan Fraser (born c. 1963 in Castor, Alberta) is the President of Nettwerk Management and one of four co-founders of the Nettwerk Music Group, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The Nettwerk Music Group is now an international organization, with offices in London, Boston, New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. Fraser began working with Terry McBride, Ric Arboit, and Mark Jowett in 1988.
Fraser was raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and currently resides in West Vancouver, BC. Fraser started out in the music business on the road touring at 17 years of age, and in 1988 he began working with McBride, Arboit, and Jowett, later creating the Nettwerk Management branch of the Nettwerk Music Group. As President, Fraser works with all artists on the Nettwerk Management roster and oversees artist managers, company employees, financial operations, and management deal negotiations and closings. Additionally, Fraser manages all aspects of the touring careers of Juno- and Grammy award-winning clients on the Nettwerk roster. He also contributes to the overall strategic development of the Nettwerk Music Group with the other 3 co-founders.
In the late 1990s, Dan partnered with McBride, Marty Diamond, and Sarah McLachlan to co-found the all-female Lilith Fair tour. [1] [2] For 4 consecutive years, Lilith Fair showcased a wide variety of female-fronted acts to audiences throughout North America.
In April 2009, it was announced that Lilith Fair would be returning in Summer 2010. [3]
Fraser has executive produced the 2002 BC Cancer Benefit [4] and The 2005 Tsunami Benefit, [5] both in Vancouver. Fraser has sat on several boards including the 2007 Memorial Cup in Vancouver and the 2006 World Junior Hockey Championships held in British Columbia. Fraser is also an active board member for the Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach program.
Fraser served on the Ceremonies Production Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. [6] This team was responsible for the production, design, scenic, and artist elements around the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, as well as the Medal Presentations for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.

Sarah Ann McLachlan OC OBC is a Canadian singer-songwriter. As of 2015, she had sold over 40 million albums worldwide. McLachlan's best-selling album to date is Surfacing, for which she won two Grammy Awards and four Juno Awards. In addition to her personal artistic efforts, she founded the Lilith Fair tour, which showcased female musicians.
Delerium is a Canadian new-age ambient electronic musical duo that formed in 1987, originally as a side project of the influential industrial music act Front Line Assembly. Throughout the band’s history, their musical style has encompassed a broad range, including dark ethereal ambient trance, voiceless industrial soundscapes, and electronic pop music. Lilith Fair was a concert tour and travelling music festival, founded by Canadian musician Sarah McLachlan, Nettwerk Music Group's Dan Fraser and Terry McBride, and New York talent agent Marty Diamond. It took place during the summers of 1997 to 1999, and was revived in the summer of 2010. It consisted solely of female solo artists and female-led bands. In its initial three years, Lilith Fair raised over $10 million for charity.
Surfacing is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan. Released in 1997, it was produced by McLachlan's frequent collaborator, Pierre Marchand. It was released in July 1997, coinciding with the start of McLachlan's Lilith Fair tour. The album reached the top position on the Canadian RPM 100 Albums chart, number two on the US Billboard 200 and became her first album to reach the top 50 outside of North America, achieving that in the UK, Australia and the Netherlands. It was certified as Diamond in sales in Canada and as 8× Platinum in sales in the US. Critical reviews were mixed; some of the more positive reviews praised the songwriting, while the album's detractors criticized it as banal and slow.

The lyrics are about the death of Jonathan Melvoin (1961–1996), the Smashing Pumpkins' touring keyboard player, from a heroin overdose, as McLachlan explained on VH1 Storytellers. Dave Pierce is a Canadian songwriter, composer, producer and arranger. Pierce was the music director for the opening, closing, and victory ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, for which he received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Direction in 2010, arranger for Twyla Tharp's Frank Sinatra musical, Come Fly Away in New York at the Marquis Theatre on Broadway and later that year opening as Sinatra Dance With Me at the Wynn Las Vegas; and music director of the Calgary Stampede Evening Grandstand Show. Pierce was also the musical director of the 2009 Gemini Awards television show in Canada. He is the father of two daughters.

Hey Ocean! is a Canadian indie alternative rock and synthpop band formed in 2004 in Vancouver. David Beckingham and Ashleigh Ball had been friends since grade 6, joining with David Vertesi in the 2000s to form the band. The band consists of Ashleigh Ball (vocals/flute), David Beckingham (vocals/guitar), and David Vertesi (vocals/bass). Their music draws from many genres, including pop and acoustic, and the group tours Canada widely. Pernilla Sternäng, better known by her stage name Tekla, is a Swedish singer. She released four albums in the 1990s - two in Swedish and two in English on the MNW label in Sweden. Tekla's fourth album was released in 1999 on the Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada label Nettwerk. She toured with Sarah McLachlan on the 1999 Lilith Fair tour as one of the Village Stage artists.
Kathy Slade (1966) is a Canadian artist, author, curator, editor, and publisher born in Montreal, Quebec, and based in Vancouver, British Columbia. She is currently a Term Lecturer at Simon Fraser University's School for the Contemporary Arts.
