Schaffer was co-chairman of the Congressional Ukrainian Caucus, and an outspoken leader in promoting American interests and human rights in Eastern Europe.
Kevin Lundberg is an American businessman and former legislator in the U.S. state of Colorado. Before his appointment to the State Senate in 2009 as a Republican, he was elected to serve as the Representative to House District 49 in the Colorado House of Representatives in 2003. He was appointed to the Colorado Senate in 2009, replacing Senator Steve Johnson after his resignation. He represented Senate District 15, which encompasses Berthoud, Estes Park, Laporte, Loveland, Red Feather Lakes and Wellington. From 2016 to early 2019, he served on the Joint Budget Committee and chaired the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Neguse is the first Eritrean-American elected to the United States Congress and Colorado's first black member of Congress.
